And here is the link to: https://store.cdbaby.com/cd/olgavirezoub The link to the album on iTunes (search under „Classical Crossover Music“): https://itunes.apple.com/us/album/olga-virezoub-selected-works-2000-2009/id1238833210 The link to Amazon: https://www.amazon.com/Olga-Virezoub-Selected-Works-2000-2009/dp/B071ZBNY25/ref=sr_1_1?ie=UTF8&qid=1496398172&sr=8-1&keywords=olga+virezoub - In this album, among my other favorite works I composed between 2000 and 2009 and included into, I would especially like to stop your attention onto the piano cycle „Eine Reise nach Holstein“ with the maritime flair... (and this exactly to the beginning of the summer time!..), and am also enclosing here some fragments from my essay '' About my work „Eine Reise nach Holstein“ '', which I originally wrote in 2005 in German language upon being back from one of the most Northern German states, Schleswig-Holstein, to Hanover, and which I am translating into English and describing here a bit for you: '' [ ... „ Eine Reise nach Holstein “ ( „ A travel to Schleswig-Holstein“ ) - is a little tale for piano solo about my trip to the very North German place Cismar in Schleswig-Holstein 12 years ago and my stay there for 3 months... - The pieces in the cycle are called: 1) „Begegnung“ ( „Encounter“ ) 2) „Kloster“ ( „Monastery“ ) 3) „Hafen im Winter“ ( „Port in the Winter“ ) 4) „Am Strand Entlang Schlendernd“ ( „Strolling along beach“ ) 5) „Kleine Tropfsteine“ ( „Little Stalactites“ ) So, this tale is about my meeting with the little fascinating city Cismar in Schleswig-Holstein and its famous medieval monastery with its very characteristic bells, about my stay at its port in the winter time, about my numerous walks I undertook along the winter beach of the Baltic Sea, and about my observations of the flowed sea water on, along and between the sea stones, which, in front of my eyes, became then suddenly frozen from the cold winter temperatures, changing themselves into the icicles.., by what – how they looked there, on the beach while I observed them, - they very much recalled me the real stalactites, but just in their little sizes... So, I also called them and, with this, the piece itself as the „Little Stalactites“... These icicles, or, how I called them, „stalactites“, is a frozen water, what I symbolically meant as a frozen life, or death... - This as I wrote this piece in memoriam of my dear aunt, Raisa, who helped and supported me a lot professionaly and privately in all my activities and life situations while I lived in Russian St. Petersburg.., but whom I then, unfortunately, lost after her very sudden disease 11 years ago already living in Germany... Thus, the piece also has its a bit sad character... … ] '' And, including this piece with this post for your listening pleasure.., I also hope, that you will enjoy it!!! - So, my Dear Friends and Fans, you all are hereby very welcome to acquire my new CD and my concept!!... And, along with my album " Olga Virezoub: Chamber Music (2005-2014) + ", to add also this one to your music collection!!. Always stay with only good music and co... and have a nice week!!!
