This release is the vocalise version of this piece, produced by the "Olga Virezoub Music Production" home studio in 2016 in Hannover, Germany. ABOUT THIS ALBUM: " While this release is the vocalise version, was the original version of this piece written for mixed chorus a cappella on the text - poem by the most important Russian poet and classical author of the 19th century, Alexander Pushkin. From here also derives the title of the piece. Selecting the text from the Pushkin´s lyrics for my choral piece, I stopped on this poem, which belongs to his love poetry, - "Ne poy, Krasavitsa, Pri Mne" ("Cease Thy Singing, Maiden"). From such a great variety of the Pushkin´s poetry, why I namely referred to this poem?!. - It interested me, because one of my favorite composers, Sergey Rachmaninov (1873-1943), also wrote his song on this Pushkin´s text. -- '... Ya prizrak milyiy, rokovoy, Tebya uvidev, zabyivayu; No tyi poyosh' - i predo mnoy Ego ya vnov' voobrajayu ...' ( '... I forget this dear, But fatal ghost, seeing you; But you sing - and in front of me I do imagine it again ...' ) -- While it´s about sadness and unhappiness in love, first of all, it´s still about love itself!.. So, paying my attention and respect to the great composer I grew with and was educated on in my teenage years, and, as a young girl, I even was in love with, I just wanted to avoid this, in my vision, perhaps, too much tragical character of the Rachmaninov´s song, at the same time giving a bit more modern interpretation of the Pushkin´s lyrics today.
