In MY OpinionGreetings, Thank you for choosing me to review your work, I count it an honor to be included in such a task. My hat is off to you and anyone willing to step out and share their gift, talent and love of music to the public. Be it a musician, singer, song writer, actor and so-on. I myself, via 40 some years of experience in the fields, on the road, in the studio, radio, TV, video, and management, consider myself to be a seasoned musician, singer, song writer, studio-sound tech/engineer/ owner/operator, stage manager, find it sometimes hard/difficult and perhaps not even fair to sit in a seat, voicing My Opinion concerning another's creative efforts. Especially in certain genres of music I am not all that familiar with concerning very important elements that make up and meet the required standards to justify the various levels of ratings and grades. So, in saying ALL that, I will limit myself to MY Opinion concerning the quality of the work according to My ears, and the standards I have been familiarized with thru-out the years. I hold to the old - saying " Beauty Is In The EAR of The Beholder ... LOL. The sound quality of the recording over-all is very crisp and bright and clear, I really enjoyed the soft guitar work.Think about a solo break with some lead melody picking. Vocals are smooth and natural, sort of - down to earth as they say, and extremely peaceful. The mix levels should let me know who was still in charge of this song. If possible bring the vocals up a bit to stand out in front. I mean no offense in any part, I myself take all feedback and use it as a tool toward my next project. I pray you feel the same way. Either way, I say to you, keep doing what you do, keep kicking and enjoying what you do. I tell folks all the time for many years. When it stops being FUN, then it's time to stop, and stand back and think about what we are doing, why we are doing it, how we are doing it, what we and others are getting out it. Is it what we want, and how we want it. IF NOT. what are willing to do from there? Thank you again for asking MY OPINION. Johnny
Review ofBag Full of DreamsNew different sound , I do not know what genre it fits in but it is different and worth a listen , vocals are clear and instrumental is great in the lead in and the support of the base of the song, percussions is is right on key, it leaves you listening and trying to find more to the story! Seems the story is left dangling and makes me want to hear more? What happens to the lady with the bag? Where is she going? What does she seek? I want to hear the 2nd version to follow up on her bag and where her dream takes her? What do you think? I do say these people have cut every thing to get more money and now you can only earn 15 coins by writing over 300 words , heck I am to the point of just listening to my fellow artist and writing a note for nothing just because I want them to be successful that way we all win! It’s to the point if you recommend every chance you get you ca’t generate a 100 coins in a day to spot your post for one day! Hey Ogaitu I hope you get 50,000 plays a day and get it done for free! Best to you friend your music is worth more than what they offer and I am not sending these people any money, I have over 2,160,000: plays because of fans but the spotlights help! Good luck!
Best songs ever!I just love it, perfect melody and lyrics. you feel my heart with your music. Keep going, you are improving song at song. Love your voice, and I can see you have been working on it. Please keep doing beautiful songs, Love
This artist has a bag full of tricksIt was late, I was I a dark room, just lay down after a long day and I came across this song. Head phones on I buckled in for what I was hoping was going to be a musical journey, though I must admit I was skeptical, once the pulsating yet calming repeating notes began I knew I wouldn't be disappointed. Beautiful song, too short though, it all ended too soon I was hoping for more. The words were well written, the music itself magical. The vibe is right up my alley, I'm a folk guitar player and sing writer and I felt right at home in this man's style. I love a pensive, mysterious, folky tune and that's what I was given. Well done!
Nice easy feelThis is a nice easy style song the sort of song which you could listen to on a moonlit night looking over the ocean. The guitar style is really good and the recording is good. If anything it feels a little short as if you finish just as it could move to a bridge just to take it on and then come back to the base again but that maybe just me wanting it to go on a bit longer !Nice one ...
MESSENGER VIA SONGAt first listen(because I've listened to your song 3 times now) I was trying to figure out the squeaking noise. It sounds like you're in a wagon or buggy going across a bridge. But I figured it must be your fingers making noise on the strings as you finger pick. Alas, I'm over that distraction. The vocals remind me of Pink Floyd, though the lyrics are nowhere near Pink Floyd. The lyrics are simple and direct, didn't have any deep twisted double meanings. They were merely a statement. I liked the chord and guitar playing with your simplicity. It worked for you and shows potential. The song was short as if you just wanted to tell the world about the girls loss of dreams due to a tragedy. You're a messenger via song.
