Ogaitu / Ogaitu´s Songs / Bag full of dreams alt version

This artist has a bag full of tricks

It was late, I was I a dark room, just lay down after a long day and I came across this song. Head phones on I buckled in for what I was hoping was going to be a musical journey, though I must admit I was skeptical, once the pulsating yet calming repeating notes began I knew I wouldn't be disappointed. Beautiful song, too short though, it all ended too soon I was hoping for more. The words were well written, the music itself magical. The vibe is right up my alley, I'm a folk guitar player and sing writer and I felt right at home in this man's style. I love a pensive, mysterious, folky tune and that's what I was given. Well done!

Nice easy feel

This is a nice easy style song the sort of song which you could listen to on a moonlit night looking over the ocean. The guitar style is really good and the recording is good. If anything it feels a little short as if you finish just as it could move to a bridge just to take it on and then come back to the base again but that maybe just me wanting it to go on a bit longer !Nice one ...

Very talented

Beautiful guitar work all throughout the song. Instrumentation is deceivingly simple within a complex structure. Melody is dark with very rich textures making it something I would like to hear more than once. Ok now for some hopefully helpful constructive thoughts. The recording is fair at best and for something as simple as this was is a travesty. I understand not everyone has access or even knowledge of where or even how to record, but when you have a little gem like this, make the effort and spend a few dollars to facilitate better production. This is a marketable piece if done correctly. Your vocal is strong as well but needs to be blended and mixed seemlessly. Reason being when there are only 2 tracks, vocal and guitar, there is no place for tiny mistakes to hide and become bigger than tiny. You’re a solid musician and even better songwriter, thanks for the listen. Best of luck to you.

MESSENGER VIA SONG

At first listen(because I've listened to your song 3 times now) I was trying to figure out the squeaking noise. It sounds like you're in a wagon or buggy going across a bridge. But I figured it must be your fingers making noise on the strings as you finger pick. Alas, I'm over that distraction. The vocals remind me of Pink Floyd, though the lyrics are nowhere near Pink Floyd. The lyrics are simple and direct, didn't have any deep twisted double meanings. They were merely a statement. I liked the chord and guitar playing with your simplicity. It worked for you and shows potential. The song was short as if you just wanted to tell the world about the girls loss of dreams due to a tragedy. You're a messenger via song.
