Norwegian rock (or whatever) band formed in 2004
Named after an antacid.
Two members quit in 2005 after bad reviews following a "Global Battle of the Bands" show in Oslo.
This turned out to be a blessing in disguise as they were mediocre musicians.
Universal Norway showed interest the same year, but eventually turned them down saying: "We have signed enough new artists this year." Maybe a polite way of saying: "You stink!"
Having been a multi-national band with members from Norway, Russia, Italy and France, Nyco is now all-Norwegian. |
