My drummer is finally gonna make out to Las Vegas which is where I live. This will let us get his recording system as close as clone to mine as we can make it. That way whatever projects we are working on together will look and act the same in both systems. In the mean time I have been writing and reviewing older material so see what should be redone.
I attached the demo of "Bringing You Down" ... any comments on this song would be welcome.
PS you can hear an alternate version here (slightly different - extra chorus ... different mix on vocals and lead guitar https://soundcloud.com/noneventhorizon/bringing-you-down-slice-n-dice
I gotta question for ya ... Can you give me your take on this demo ... Just finished the rough version (literally). Of course it is gonna need some refining and you input would be helpful. Ever wanted to tell the song writer what they should or shouldn't have done ??? Here is your chance ... I attached the track to this news letter so you don't have to go looking for it.
The guitars amps sounds are done using software ... yes I still played the guitars but I didn't use an amp. I used guitar amp sims to get these sounds ... I love the sound that I am getting here. What say you?

Life is starting to finally get back on track and that means I can get to working on the album ... Please let me know if I should include " Not Coming Home to You - Live " on my next release. Right now I have in the "Odds and Ends" pile.
As always I am interested in what you are thinking music-wise so keep me clued in if you a have a moment or two to do so.
Working in a vacuum is not as much fun as it might sound ...
I came across some very old tracks and decide to upload them even though they are far from my normal level of quality. I like the compositions and these record capture the intended feel even if the recordings are very sub-par. There are a few more that need restoration before they would be listenable and I am going give audio repair a spin and see if I can fix them up a bit. You will find these under the album heading Odds & Ends ... the track "Traces" is also there but is a much more recent track and is recorded pretty decently ... Please let me know what you think about these old tracks ... That's the haps ... Tom
The saga of the bass that I purchased brand new but it didn't work ... part II I received a replacement preamp from the manufacturer and installed it according the the included documentation ... still no sound.
I previously told you all that I had repair parts on the way and since they had arrived I installed them. Bass noise at last!!! Now my bass is working with cheap aftermarket parts ... You will get hear it on my upcoming tracks now that I can actually add the bass parts.
We are at 999 subscribers as I write this ... I am sure that the 1K mark will be crossed soon. Also at 139K+ plays so the 140K mark will be crossed soon as well.
I attached traces just cuz its one of my favs ... That's the happs ... Tom
