|  |  |  |  |  |  | | | | | | Bio of the Artist | Ninet Tayeb, born October 21, 1983, in Kiryat Gat, Israel is an Israeli pop rock singer who came to fame as the first winner of Kochav Nolad (An Israeli "Pop Idol" version). Additionally, Ninet acted for four seasons in the Israeli television drama "HaShir Shelanu" (Our Song). Three years after winning the Israeli Kochav Nolad reality show, Ninet finnaly started to work on her first album Barefoot (Yechefa). On July the 12th 2006 Ninet released her first single from the album, "Kshe'Ata Kan" (When you're here), and few weeks later she released her second single from the album, "Hakol Yachol Likrot" (Everything might happen). The album itself was released on September 7 2006, and went Gold the next day, selling more then 24,000 copies. The album went Platinum on September 25, selling more then 40,000 copies. On November the 27th Ninet realesed the first video clip from her album, of the song "Hi Yoda'at" (She Knows). MTV Europe channle placed ninet's first video straight in the number 2 spot, following only Madonna. Nowdays Ninet's forth single, Im Tavo (If you'll come) is dominating the Israeli Radio channles and topping the charts.
On August 2008 Ninet filmed her first movie, starring alongside Olga Kurylenko (James bond girl), the movie "Kirot" will be out in the end of 2009.
On July 2009 Ninet released her first single out of her second album in isreal. Im ani elech. The song became an immidiate success. Ninet's second album will be released in Israel on August 23rd. | | |
