Singer-songwriter and composer Nicolas Tankoff is a noted and distinguished member of Medicus, one of the most popular groups in Bulgaria between 1986 and 1991, with many concerts, recordings, TV and radio appearances and festivals to their credit. During those troubled times, which were closely linked to the changes that the country was undergoing, his voice became a symbol in the anthem of Bulgarian democracy of the time Последен валс.
Since 1991 he has worked in Geneva, Switzerland, where he continues to pursue his musical career as a solo artist and independent musician performing in clubs and at gala receptions and other similar venues.
His original self-produced albums Influence & L’amour Viendra (38 songs in total) reflect and draw inspiration from his unconventional career.
Leaving aside his qualifications as an architect, he embarked on a profound quest as an artist to devote himself completely to the magic of a career in music, with all its ups and downs – a career which he has built up brick by brick with courage and humility.
Overflowing with musical ideas and communicative energy and being blessed with an open-mindedness that has withstood the test of time, Nicolas Tankoff has managed to stay on course and has but one desire: to share his songs and his voice with a wider public throughout the French-speaking world and beyond.

Chanteur-musicien et compositeur, Nicolas Tankoff est un membre remarqué et émérite de Medicus, un des groupes le plus populaire en Bulgarie entre les années 1986 et 1991, avec à son actif de nombreux concerts, enregistrements, programmes télévisés, radios et festivals. Pendant cette période agitée, étroitement liée aux changements subis par le pays, sa voix est devenue un symbole dans l’hymne de la démocratie bulgare de l'époque Последен валс.
Depuis 1991, il œuvre à Genève où il continue sa carrière musicale en solo, en qualité de musicien indépendant, tout en se produisant dans des clubs, des réceptions, des galas etc.

Dans sa quête profonde, l'artiste a laissé de côté son diplôme d'architecte pour s'abandonner pleinement à la magie, mais aussi aux hauts et bas d'une carrière musicale, souvent construite brique par brique, avec beaucoup de courage et d'humilité.
