Not sure where I last left off, but yesterday I just finished my 3rd remix of the song Primate and add Silly vs’ verse to the track from the file he provided. My mixing skills have improved, but I struggled with the timing on his verse. I’m sure with practice I will get used to artists with his flow style. I graduated with my Bachelor of Science in Audio Production and am currently going for my Master of Science in Entertainment Business. I have a business idea I am currently working on with a few others and I am hoping to bring more people on in the future. I have a name in mind, but i'm not sure if I want to use it and if it expresses the concept behind what I want to do. I came up with the meaning before a name(lol). The meaning I have right now is being in between heaven and hell in purgatory and being an anomaly. The reason being that I tend to see things from multiple perspectives, so i'm more of a gray area person than black and white and I want to have people around me more open to looking at things from different perspectives than jumping to conclusions based on their personal perspective. A 2nd reason is that I feel like I have an essence of both light and dark in my personality. The 3rd reason is that I want the business to be in a place where it is neither old school nor trap. I love old school, but I feel like a lot of artists are trying to sound too much like old school instead of creating their own identity. On the flip side trap sounds good, but I don't like the type of content or lack of lyrical content. I want artists who love making music and want to create art. I don't want artists who only care about money and what's popular. Money will come regardless if the determination and work is there, but I don't get along with people who are all about money. I'm not naive to the different types of people in this world, but it is what I want around me regardless of what anyone out there is. I also wanted to have video game and anime elements mixed into it, such as having cosplayers in a music video and when there is a physical office i'd like to have different art from a Hip Hop style to anime style art. I'm going to continue working on the idea while i'm in school learning about Entertainment Business and going to improve on it as I learn more. I hope to find people with different strengths that are interested in working on this with me.
