Bio of the Artist
Nathan Vialo is a singer/songwriter from Springville, California. He's been writing songs and playing music since 2000, when he was 14. Living in Ireland, he became fascinated with traditional music after hearing a woman singing Sean Nos in a pub in Galway city. He's never looked back. Soon after that experience, Nathan saw on some Irish TV show a video of the Dubliners and promptly decided that if he could sing with a tenth of whatever it is that Luke Kelly, God bless him, sang with he would change lives. He's still looking for it.

He never seems to get around to planning ahead so Nathan busks more than he plays proper shows. He's not played much in America, so he's planning a tour of the northern United States and Canada. Like just about everything Nathan does, the tour is more spontaneous than not. But spontaneity serves the music well. Dates will be up soon.

Nathan has just recorded The Saturday Meanders (EP), which will be available soon. He has also just recruited the help of Saul Luna for the coming tour.

Just give him some time to get his act together. He'll get it together or he won't. Either way, it'll be right.

"Nathan Vialo is one with high, unvoiced hopes. Hopes he barely sees for the distance, and he should be wearing glasses anyway. Way up in the ionosphere and way down to Earth's magma and deep within Nathan's own magma. These are the places hotly harboring hope and to which Nathan is ever turned, to the detriment of the places he's known. It's because the hope-places know him and not the other way around. The Saturday Meanders Session, in places out of tune and with changing rhythms and shifting tempos give a spot of proof to those who care to look of Nathan's preoccupation with those things that know him." - Aoife Ragan, owner of the Poesis Cafe, Galway.
