Second – many of you have been asking about the name. Like all good names it came without fishing for it. There are a few layers. 'Muchimas' is the Spanish superlative of 'muchas' meaning 'many'. 'Mashita' is a Japanese verb suffix meaning perfect tense. You get the idea! Beyond that we have to go in to Mu and Chi…next update!
Just back from a shamanic mission to Alicante (Arabic for 'City of Light')…to London, which this time of year is definitely not a city of light. North tomorrow to Linconlshire, where I'll be outta the rain and into the studio. Some remastering to do on Guru Frequency I II and III – attempts at a Tamil Guru version of Green Velvet's Preacher Man that keep sliding into other beasts, The Rhythm – a shamanic epic featuring 6/8 Berber-esque live drums, and Seeside – timpani driven dance track in similar vein to Are you not alive?
Plus new material, some spacious and spooky, some fiery and frenetic, some tracky, some more songish…all heading v shortly towards the debut album which you guys will hear about first.
