About Mile High Major

Blaane “Major” Oteo (born July 2, 1982), who records under the mononym Mile High Major, is a Denver recording artist, rapper, songwriter and producer. He was born in Denver, Colorado. He first garnered recognition as an artist with the release of “5280 Mixtape” .He later rose to prominence as a rapper, releasing several mixtapes like “Underground Railroad Volume 2” before signing to Major Music Dynasty and Numerous Productions in June 2013. Shortly after signing with the label Mile High Major released his first album “Ursa Major”.



Mile High Major’s first studio album, Ursa Major (2013), spawned the hit single "Fun Wit Cha”, which has over 50,000 views on You Tube. His, single “What they do” (2014) from his upcoming second album, Real Life in “G” Major debuted and gained over 20,000 views in a couple of days. Fans are eager to see what else Mile High Major has in store. Mile High Major music can be heard on Reverb Nation, Sound Cloud and soon to come ITunes. He has been featured on Dab City Radio, 3one4rocious Radio, and Caliwood Radio.



Mile High Major started his rap career at the young age of 14. He remembers listening to Nas and Lauren Hill “If I ruled the World” and knowing at that moment that his life would consist of making music. He began writing songs but it wasn’t until he was 16 that he allowed others to hear what he came up with being the perfectionist he is. Talented with a diverse background Mile High Major grew up in a bilingual household. This helped him relate his music to different ethnic backgrounds. Mile High Major stated in a recent interview that “with music I can express myself without restrictions; it’s a diary of my life”.



Mile High Major, along with being a record producer under Numerous Productions, has also performed shows with other artists, including Rappin’ 4-Tay, Joker, DJ Scream of Maybach Music, Tory Lanez and Young Nation. He featured as a finalist in The Battle of the Bands. Mile High Major has performed in over 20 concerts throughout Colorado with plans to go on tour soon. He is also working on endorsing “Vision Vintage “clothing line.
