Greetings to everyone near & far,

Blessings to all of you from here in Michigan where I live... it's summertime and the weather lately has been awesome! I usually start my day outside in the morning where I have a patio to sit and have a quite time of reading the scriptures and spending time with God. Actually - that's my favorite part of my day, just sitting in God's presence and being still before God, studying the Bible and listening to the gentle voice of The Holy Spirit before I jump into the fast lane that all of us have to deal with everyday.

Today, I'm sending out a simple song of worship and adoration that I just finished recording - YOU ARE BEAUTIFUL. It has to be
the fewest lyrics I've ever written for a song - just one simple verse - that serves as the chorus too. I paired an acoustic guitar with a piano to create a flowing and gentle arrangement that is easy to sing to. I hope this song draws you closer to God as you listen it, and reminds you of how beautiful - how majestic - how glorious and awesome our God truly is!

I never know what I'm going to write next, for me that's half the fun of being a Christian songwriter. I say Christian songwriter, because when we let The Holy Spirit lead and guide us - it can be a very interesting journey to say the least. A funky rock jam, or a delightful ballad with swirling melodies going back and forth... All I will say is I'm excited about what the next song will be that God inspires me to create - only He knows. ha ha - I won't know until the song is finished.

Before I go, let me thank all of the new subscribers who've signed on since my last newsletter went out; and of course a big thank you to all of you who've been with me from the start here on N1M... It's been amazing to see all the plays I've had, and all the number one, two, three and songs I've had in various genres here on N1M - too many to list here. To God belongs all the credit and glory - because as I've always said - I have nothing that God didn't first give to me. I'm just a vessel being poured out for the glory of God. amen.

Finally, let me say that my latest album/CD - FOOL FOR CHRIST, should be now available at most online digital stores such as Amazon, iTunes, etc. Fifteen songs that will surely make you want to get up and praise God... hey - you might even start dancing! I'm going to be opening my own website with a store where all of my albums (9 in total), and my book - Pearls of Wisdom can be purchased. I'm hoping to have my own website open by this Fall of 2019. I'll be sending out an email to all of you and others soon with more info about what I'm doing these days. This month I have 3 events to sing/minister at but I'm so busy I have little time to do any promoting,etc. Please pray for me as I take the gospel of Jesus' death and resurrection to those who have yet to surrender their lives to Jesus Christ.

Well, it's time to send out a new song - and this time to my surprise - God gave me a tune with a little country flavor.
It's just a simple song called: JESUS They say, "You can take the boy out of the country, but you can't take the country out of the boy." Hmm - not sure that's true, but I do know God is the God of the city and the country... So - it's no wonder that He can give a lad from Michigan who grew up in the suburbs a song that has a country feel and sound to it. This is the first song for my next collection of songs, which I've just started writing. I don't have a name for the album it will be on, but I have a long way to go before the songs for that will be finished.

I just finished my latest album - FOOL for CHRIST - fifteen songs that has a funky/bluesy/rock flavor to it. It should be out in most online stores by August of this year/2019. I'm just finishing up the album cover for that and then it should be distributed worldwide if all goes well with the final touches. You can find all of those songs right here now on N1M, and I hope you share them with your friends and family. I'm amazed at how many countries and places my songs have gone out to here on N1M. It just keeps going and going - all I can say is thank you for all of you who've been playing my songs - I appreciate all of you.

I'm currently working with 2 N1M artists, Benjamin Thomas, and Chad Jenner. Both of these amazing and talented guys write and sing their own songs... I'm helping to arrange/produce and do some lead guitar work as well as mastering & final mixes for both of them. You can do a "search" for them and check out some of their music. I'm excited about the artists and songwriters God is bring to GODSONGS recording studio here in Michigan. Let me close by saying how much I appreciate all of you who have been stopping by my site here on N1M, and listening to my songs, and checking out some of my videos. I sometimes wish their were two of me so I could do more for God. But, then on second thought - I realize that two of me might be more than my wife could handle. ha ha Besides, I couldn't afford two of me... Please keep my wife and I in your prayers as we take the gospel to the homeless, those in jail/prison and to teens locked up in detention here in Michigan. Thank you for your prayers!!

It's summer time and we just celebrated the 4th of July, or Independence Day as I like to call it here in America. While it's nice to know we live in a land where we have more freedom than any other country in the world (though many would like to take away our freedom). I'm even more excited about the freedom from sin and the powers of darkness that are ours in Jesus Christ. His victory over the devil at the cross where he dealt sin a fatal blow, is something we as Christians can rejoice about and share with everyone around us! 2 Col.2:13 - 15

Well, I"m happy to announce that my latest CD/Fool For Christ - is now finished. I"m getting ready to have it distributed all over the world; wherever digital music is sold or made available to the public. 15 songs that were fun to create and now ready to be published and released very soon. I hope to have them distributed before August if all goes
well... Please pray that these songs change hearts and draw people closer to God and His son - Jesus Christ.

WHAT WOULD YOU SAY? is one of the songs featured on this CD/Album of songs - and it's a simple yet profound question that asks this question: What would you say if I told you "Jesus loves you?" Those 3 words may seem trite or superficial when you hear them, but really they are in fact - the very heart of the gospel, the heart of God. In John 3:16 we find that the very reason God sent Jesus to earth to die for all of us was - His incomprehensible and unfathomable love for each person ever born - past/present and future!

Sharing the love of Jesus can be done in many ways, and there is no formula or way that is best - it can be shared in too many ways to try to explain in this message. I will say that the important thing is that we do share the love of Jesus with those around us - the people that God places in our lives everyday. God will show you and me how and when to share His love - if we are sensitive to The Holy Spirit's leading... The main thing is to be ready and willing to share the love of Jesus when we have the opportunity to do so. amen.

Finally, I want to thank everyone who has signed on to receive messages from me, and for all of you who've been sharing my music/videos with others since I came here to N1M - I appreciate all of you! Please pray for me as I distribute this new album of songs/Fool For Christ throughout the world; and as I begin to work on a new collection of songs for yet another album - unnamed at this time. I'm thinking it may be softer and have more acoustic oriented songs on it. I'm not sure - but will seek God for where He wants me to go musically with my next songs. That's up to God - my task is simply to listen and obey.

link. My wife and I have been taking the gospel to men & women in jail, to teen boys & girls locked up in detention, and to homeless men and women in our area. We are rejoicing at all of those who have give their hearts and lives to Jesus Christ recently. Please keep us in your prayers as we take the Good News of Jesus death/resurrection to those who are the "least among us."

Let me begin by thanking God for all of you! Really. A while back I hit another milestone here on N1M. Over 5 million people stopped by to hear some of the songs God has given me - that's incredible! Over 6 million people have hit my site here just to check things out - and it just keeps going up and up. I know it isn't me - because the songs and music I share all comes from God... (a special welcome to all the new subscribers, and those of you who've been with me since
the beginning here on N1M)

I simply make time to record and put out into the atmosphere what God has first put into my mind and being. That's not feigned humility - it's the truth. Every song, every word in my songs - is from God. I truly believe that. That is why many of my songs have lyrics that are written in the "first person" - directly from God rather than from
me or someone else..

HEART of STONE

The song I'm sharing with you today is new - and totally created on the fly - or in other words; I recorded and wrote this song spontaneously in the studio letting The Holy Spirit take over the entire process - from beginning to end. I didn't have any idea what this song would be about when I started, and I had no idea what the words or music were going to be. The song just flowed from beginning to end, and after I began I knew God was leading me to share about His power to transform our hearts of stone - hearts of sin - into new hearts. Hearts changed by the grace of the Gospel of Jesus Christ - and through the awesome power of The Holy Ghost.

I know it's so - true; because God took my heart - my life and changed me forever when I surrendered my life - my heart to Jesus Christ. God gave me a new heart - a heart of love for everyone. I truly believe God can transform even the most vile and wicked sinners - if they will turn to God and repent of their sins. God's in the business of looking for, seeking the most unlovable and wretched sinners to offer them forgiveness and acceptance -through faith in His son Jesus Christ. When we accept Christ as Savior and turn from our sins and turn to God - God gives us new hearts!! Now that dear friends is something to get excited about - and something to share with our friends/family & people we come in contact with everyday. - Hey - even our enemies and those who may hate us - in a word, everyone.

Finally, let me ask you to pray for me as I finish up my 2nd book/Out of the Darkness, and put the finishing touches on my latest collection of songs to be called: FOOL FOR CHRIST I should have this album released in the next few months with God's help, amen. I can tell you many souls have been giving their hearts to Jesus Christ as my wife and I take the gospel message to teens in detention, and to men & women in jail, and to homeless men and women in our area. We always try to give people the opportunity to repent of their sins, and to commit themselves to Christ. The invitation to follow Jesus and ask for forgiveness for one's sins, is at the center of all we do when we minister. It's that important.

Greetings to everyone near & far,

Well, once again it's time to send out a new jam. This song is more on the serious side as far as lyrics go. It's only because of Jesus dying for our sins that we have any hope of being in heaven! I know that the blood of animals could never take away our sins, but through the blood of Jesus Christ on the cross we have forgiveness of sins and the only thing that can cleanse our soul. Wow - that is amazing. The scriptures reveal that the blood of Jesus can cleanse our guilty conscience, something the blood of animals could never do. Heb.9:11-15

Right now the entire earth being covered with an outpouring of evil that is opposed to everything good, and all that Jesus Christ represents. The spirit of antichrist is being manifest in every facet of human life - politics, religion, education, art, music, literature, and has slithered it's way into many churches - I'm sad to say. Without going into detail, which is not the purpose of this message - let me simply say when people choose to disobey the teachings of the Bible, and Jesus Christ - we will find death, misery, and destruction.

I have a saying, "Don't Make Me Choose." If you ask me to do anything that God has already declared to be sinful, or contrary to His commandments and holy purpose for us as human beings - my answer is simply:YOU LOSE!

I decided a long time ago I'd rather be a "fool for Christ," than a wise man in this world of folly. The majority of people now are turning their backs on Jesus Christ, on God and the teachings of the Bible; but God still loves them - everyone no matter how lost or far away they are from Him. I live my life and write songs in the hope that I may be able to reach someone who is blinded to the truth, that Jesus Christ is the Savior of the world - and the only one who can give them what they can never find in this world. That is my prayer.

I want to close by asking you all to pray for my wife and I as we take the gospel into the jail, and to teen boys and girls locked up in detention; and to homeless men and women here in our area, We are doing a concert for inmates in Flint, Michigan this month and we go knowing that some of these men will never go to a church, but we are taking the church to them.
