Emotional work here

The start with the guitars at first is mega. Music is very emotional and full of feelings. Mix is glassclear and the song has a very good pressure. So I can only tell you good things. Be proud of your supergood piece of music.

Great, but!

This is great stuff, actually you are my style, I am writing similar stuff. The composition is just amazing, awesome! Just for that I will give you the maximum rate, but I have some remarks. I know some times it's tough to do make the mixing again, but it shows, I hear that you made most of it on the computer. The bass is to vivid, you have to lower the volume of it. And maybe put some reverbs and delays at some place, otherwise this composition is spectacular!!! I wish i wrote it, honestly!!! ;) Keep rockin' and good luck! By the way you now in my top 3 from that site! Very very good job or writing it!!! Cheers, Donnie Donkov

If only there was more Break Through by Metaloyd in this world!

This is the first song I've heard on NOM that actually makes me jealous! The bass-guitar-horn trio absolutely kills it all the way through! When one sound teeters off, another comes in strong and this fluctuation creates a fresh, adventurous, and exciting feel! And then, as soon as you think you've understood the sound, a piano / keyboard melody throws you back into a loop! The sound reminds me of a cross between a Trans Siberian Orchestra / Metallica S&M masterpiece whereby the sheer epicness will catch you pressing the replay button over and over again! So much detail and so much depth t0 this piece! Every time I replay Break Through by Metaloyd, I find myself becoming ever more jealous that I couldn't create such beauty myself! I would absolutely expect to hear this song make its way to a major motion picture (Called it here first on NOM!) Best wishes, Silent Violence :)

Your Song "Break Through"

At first I was getting the vibe of Pink Floyd then went to a more relaxed jazz influenced feel which I could definitely hear some vocals that would have to have a great range because of the change structure of the song that was very well written and recorded. The guitar lead was well placed and not over done. All and All I thought this was a great song Metaloyd and look forward to hearing more from you. Write On~~~

A balanced blend of orchestra and rock

I have always loved the sound of orchestra’s working with rock bands. Metaloyd has successfully achieved a delicate balance of orchestra and rock in this piece. The brass is a compliment to the guitar solo near the end of the piece. Looking forward to more offerings from Metaloyd!!!!!

Beautifully written!!

This song is beautifully written and took me to a different place in time. I didn't want it to end! Loved all the chordal progressions and instrumentations going on.. I felt like I was actually a part of a movie like vikings or a renaissance movie or something like that. This piece of music was true art!!! Can't wait to hear more from metaloyd!!! Exciting stuff.. like being on a journey through time.

This is finished music

I've heard some of Metaloyd before, here on N1M. Anyone who can do so well handling Pink Floyd songs, with their high caliber of arrangement and orchestration, gave me great expectations for this original composition and I am not disappointed. Break Through is an instrumental piece with a strong sense of direction, moving through different emotions in a sound-scape, all beautifully executed. This is finished music.

This song and sound, set a mood right off the bat. Sounds very regal, and big...like a movie score. Has somewhat a depth or tension to it, that sounds like something big is going to happen. Very well done, and well played. Does not stray from the path, until about a little over half way through. Which is still cool. Good song. Good sound on Lead Guitar. Keep going. Edward Westbrook

Music that sets a mood

Helpful

One of the things so rarely heard today in music is the way songs would make you feel, the mood that they would bring, like the days of the great rock bands of the early 70s... This piece is reminiscent of that type of mood creation... And Metaloyd should be commended for traveling that path, staying true to the music ...

A well produced piece of music. Would be perfect for movies or TV. I could see this used in some action/adventure or other drama D.Conrad Submissive Soul
