Hi all,
Unfortunately, it looks like Mesa House will be shutting down in October. Although we have a large fanbase, it is not translating into purchased music - only streaming, which doesn’t pay enough to pay the bills. We are sad that it has come to this, but recognize today’s music industry supports only a relatively small number of bands - the rest scrap by - as we have. We’ll be posting one or two more songs in the coming weeks for those that follow us.
Peace to all,
Mesa House

It's been awhile, but finally have a new song posting - Blood In The Eye. It's in progressive rock mode. If that's your preference, we think you'll like it! Give a listen and let us know.

Hi all,
Here's something new we put together during the pandemic called Blood In The Eye. It's been tough laying out our music during these difficult times, but we are getting there. Hope everyone is doing well - and hope you enjoy the new song!

Hi everyone,
Mesa House just wanted to take a moment to wish everyone a happy and safe holidays! No question that 2020 has been a difficult time for most folks and we hope you’ve been able to find some solace in music. The pandemic has definitely complicated the ability of many musicians to get their songs produced, but we do believe it has also had musicians hunker down and focus on their craft - we expect some great new music to come out in 2021. So everyone hang in there, good stuff is coming!
Peace to everyone,
Mesa House

Hi all,
Just uploaded a new song - Small Victories On Mars - which we wrote via the inspiration of Elon Musk and how he has single-handedly moved humans closer to moving out into space. We visualized the song as a reflection of Mars - somewhat barren, technical via humans, victories build but are hard to come by, but ultimately our technology becomes established on the surface. Hope you see the parallels in our song! We have written a ton of new music, but production has been slowed by the pandemic. Hope everyone is safe and living well.
Peace,
Mesa House

Hi everyone,
Just wanted to drop a note and let you know we’ll have a new song posted around the middle of October. It’s in the final stages of production. We’ve also been working on new music with vocals but as you could guess, the pandemic has slowed our progress. We were originally hoping to have our next album ready by December, but it’s looking more like early 2021 now. So hopefully everyone can be patient with us as we work through the complexities of remote song writing and production. We will likely have to remove 5-6 songs currently posted on our N1M site to make room for new songs so let us know if which songs you’d like to remain on our site. We’ll definitely listen to everyone’s input. Until then, thanks again for all the support and good wishes! We hope everyone is safe, respectful to others, and living well.
Peace,
Mesa House

Hi all,
We hope everyone is doing well while waiting out the virus. Really a tough situation for our country and the world. It has definitely slowed MH's ability to work on new music, but we just happen to have a new tune that we had sitting on the sidelines - Dirty Hands - and although it wasn't targeted for release yet, we know so many folks are home listening to music and who doesn't appreciate it when new music gets posted. So there you go - Dirty Hands is on our site - take a listen and let us know what you think. As always, everyone be safe at home and/or if you are traveling - we'll make it through this.
Peace,
Mesa House

Finally, October 17th is here and our new album "Kaleidoscope Humans" is now available in its entirety through iTunes and Amazon Music. You can also stream our songs through Spotify, Apple Music, and Jango. Hope you've been enjoying the 2 songs we placed on N1M - "Workhorse" and the album's title track "Kaleidoscope Humans". If you get a chance, listen to a clip of "The Code" (rock), "Blowhole" (jazz), and "Too Much Cryin' Blues" (rock/blues). And you'll find "October Land" and "inspire" on the new album as well. Let us know what you think - we appreciate all thoughts/comments! Thanks to everyone that have been writing us and supporting our music! We're trying to "bring it..." on every album.

Hi everyone,
We've been waiting anxiously to release this email update to everyone - our new album "Kaleidoscope Humans" is set for release on iTunes and Amazon Music on 10/17/19 - with a Pre-Order set for 10/1/19. Ten new songs in total and definitely some of our best work to date. You are probably familiar already with "Inspire", "October Land", and "Backyard Peace" as part of our N1M playlist. Seven more originals - "Workhorse" (hard progressive rock), "The Code" (another rocker), the title song of our release "Kaleidoscope Humans" (upbeat jazz rock), "Blowhole" (progressive jazz rock), "Too Much Cryin' Blues" (blues rock), "The Wisdom of Rain" (piano adventure), and leading off "Sphere" (a short acoustical diddy). We'll be able to load one or two of these songs to N1M, but will have to save the rest for the kind folks who purchase the download our album. We'd like to thank everyone for the tremendous support we've received as we approach 100k plays on N1M. Our goal has always been to bring new rhythms and original ideas to the music world and we're very appreciative to all of you that are supporting us and giving us such kind feedback. Hope everyone likes the new music and has an opportunity to download the album!

Hi everyone,
We wanted to give a heads up that we will be posting a new song to our site here at NumberOneMusic later this week. One of the things about Mesa House music is we like to immerse ourselves in the rhythms of the music we’re creating. If you’ve played in a band - or if you know a band - when they start a jam, it’s not a one or two minute “feel” - it typically goes on for anywhere from 7-8 minutes to 20 minutes. Hence, Mesa songs tend to be a bit long because we want to keep that “jam feel” encompassed in our music. We’re not about producing little 2-3 minute jingles because some record company thinks that’s the max attention span of most listeners. We think listeners can handle it - and there’s a significant population that want it. So in lieu of that, our song will be around 8 minutes and crosses several themes as it plays out. We’re putting final touches on it today. Thanks to everyone for your kind words of support and appreciation of our music!!! Song should be posted by Friday at the latest (doesn’t even have a name yet... lol).
Best to everyone,

Hi to all,
We’re very excited to announce our latest album release “Universe” is available for pre-order on ITunes!! There are 2 songs available now as part of the pre-order - “Tao” and “North Expanse”. The full album will become available on Nov 30th. The album includes 2 songs (Tao and Earth Dance) that also appear on our NumberOneMusic page. Then there are 8 new originals. The album title song “Universe” is one of our best works to date! The album is mostly rock with a couple of lighter jazz songs (With The Sun In Our Eyes and Nights Alone With Stars) to balance it out. We hope you’ll consider buying it. Just a side note - we’ve received initial reviews from several music industry execs types that had a chance to review our work and got a big thumbs up for this album!!
Peace to all,
Mesa House
