Une Nuit d'Ete ( A Summer's Night) was composed in France whilst I was producing a singer by the name of Corrine Becot. We would write together, usually my presenting her with a piece that was blocked out, simple construction and she would then fill in the melody and the lyric. This is one of those pieces. This was alos produced during the time I was working along with Vincent, who played bass on this one, and took care of the engineering and technical aspects of bouncing tracks from 4 track Portastudio to Revox and re-inserting live play onto another set of stereo tracks on the Porta. I laid down the guitars, keyboards and percussion along with some backing vocals. Loads of fun, and good memories.
