An instrumental track entitled "SOMETHING OUT OF THIS WORLD".
A very easy listening track which features soft dual guitars and acoustic guitars.
There's a touch of the Bond theme feel here, and the composition was put together based on Maurice's first ever flying experience many years ago @ 35,000 feet, its a lovely piece of music though, and hopefully to your taste and liking!.

News Update Maurice Doulgas February 14th 2015
Hi everyone,
January & February have been extremely active and very busy months, and it doesn’t stop there.
I Maurice will be performing with my band Room 602, playing the music of Wishbone Ash! at the following venues to date: Riverside Lodge Morpeth on the 13th March 2015, and the Creswell Arms Newbiggin on May 3rd 2015, more information can be found here: (expired link)
There is also more original music on the way! both studio & live, and I have serious plans to put an Acoustic 3 -4 piece band together which will hopefully include Acoustic Guitars Violin Bass & Light Percussion.
Much of my new song material has a Folk Rock feel about it, and due to the past difficulties in forming a full original band, I have decided to keep things simple for the time being.
Name musicians have also shown an interest in my song writing, and a window of opportunity could be just around the corner in early 2015 regarding original projects.
I do enjoy though performing the music of Wishbone Ash, but my aim is to run both projects side by side and possibly perform a support solo set at one or two of the Room 602 gigs.

Thanks ever so much for the interest in myself as an artist and my music.

I had the pleasure of touring as guitarist with Martin Turners Wishbone Ash a few years ago and was lucky enough to get the guys involved in my projects.
I am currently gigging as a solo acoustic guitar player performing my own songs as well as collaborating with a local band which I will keep you updated.

About Maurice Douglas
Maurice Douglas, Professional Guitarist Songwriter Musician from the North East of England Maurice , a Guitarist Songwriter Musician from the North East of England has been playing and performing since he was 15 years of age.
Brought up in a children's home from an early age, Maurice bought his first record when he was 15 (Hot Love T Rex) and soon after that got his hands on a Gibson Les Paul Copy from a catalogue on weekly instalments.
He remembers hearing "Jailbait" by Wishbone Ash and was totally hooked and has never looked back since. Maurice was luckily enough to tour with Martin Turners Wishbone Ash UK & Euro in 2009 as guitarist totalling over 20 shows and went on to make an original album "The Word Is Out" with the help of Rob Hewins, Ray Hatfield, & Danny Wilson.
Maurice is currently recording & writing music full time as well as being associated with a local gigging band and a solo acoustic spot.
His second solo album is very near completion and has songs already lined up for an acoustic solo album too.
