Cool!

Puzzling but interesting start got my attention! Then it headed off into a Leonard Cohen style, then into rock! You are making the song "Not Boring" which so many songs end up being. Good job on this!

GETTING WHAT I WANT

As the song starts to play, one is filled with the desire for bass, volume, professionalism and with sympathy for a brief moment, all that is shattered as the song bursts through like the first rays of Sunshine bursting to spill over the horizon xxx Love open challenge and the way I could just sit back and relax knowing that everything is well taken care of with a good song to shine through the days!

What I Want review

This is a really fun song. I wasn't certain at the start, but it developed as you went along with it. The majority of the production on it is good. It did seem you punched in the last part of the song maybe to make it longer or fill in the actual track? If I were to suggest anything, I would say drop going back to repeating the song lyric in the outtro. Today, the industry if wanting songs around the old 3 minute mark, so I would try and edit it down rather than repeat the verse. Hope you keep writing and good luck with all your efforts. You have talent and should continue to write in your path less taken. Too many are sounding the same in this current commercial sludge on the air. Thanks!

could use some adjustments

The instrumental is good the lyrics have potential but i couldn't get pass the weird sound effect on the deep vocals before the chorus it throws everything off but the song makes me think it should be in a teen movie

Cool song

That was quite good, Good mix and a good driving feel, the back up vocals where a little fuzzy but I could only tell that with my head phones on. The guitar rift was really good. Keep on rocking!

Like the Song: Mix issues!

Hey WhiteHaven, I like the ideas in the song. It has some some 70s influence that I dig with the fuzz and general format and progression. It really needs a professional mix. You would be surprised at the difference it makes. The levels are off, certain things aren't blending well. I can tell what it should sound like (having just mixed a 70s influenced rock album) for a client from Colorado. Starting even with drums and bass, everything screams amateur mix job. However, the ideas are REALLY COOL! There were some dissonant tones at the beginning I would either leave out or bring way down. I enjoyed the vibe behind the I want to get really RICH! That never gets old and helps set up the chorus which is catchy and cool. Great Song, but get a producer that can turn it into a commercial success!

Something really good here....

Touch of Iggy Pop and also Velvet Underground here. Good lyrical content ..So much good work going on here but really could do with a remix all round as it sounds very much like a demo and it deserves a better production...Talent is there though and that's what matters..Find a good producer and spend some money.

What we all want...

This is a good rocking tune. It's got a fun vibe to it and the mix is fine. The lyric theme is something everyone can relate to and there are many things going on with the vocals in the mix. I'd listen to more from this band.

Gostei!

A different rock song

Starting out with one of the most artistic intros I have heard in a long time, and it makes you wonder where this is going..? Then it kicks in to a cool rock song. Artistic or not I would like to hear the lead vocal without the dubbing. And the mix is just not where it should be. The backing vocals are to much in your face. The rythm section is working but could tighten up a bit. Guitar sound is always a difficult subject, but for my taste the electric guitar sound is to fuzzy. I perfer a more authentic braking up tube amp sound. The acoustic guitar really doesn´t have the sound of an acoustic guitar. Over all there is a lot of eq tuning that can be done to improve some of this. A last tip is to use a good producer that is into this genre and record in a pro studio. It will absolutely be worth the money. Keep on rockin´ ! All the best -Kris

What I Want

This song is actually well composed but it just needs tweaked a bit. It lacks bottom end to give it a heavier fatter sound. Probably if the song was remixed and redo EQ frequencies it would give you a much more desired effect. The mix on the guitars is thin, perhaps a different type of distortion on guitars would improve the guitar tone. At the moment it's too nasty and raw but perhaps that is what you were wanting in the sound. I like the structure of the song, it sounds like heavier version of the Beatles or somebody like that but still sounds very original. Hope this is helpful. Great job!

Catchy, Kitschy tune is What I Want

Hi WhiteHaven, I didn't really know what to expect when I hit the play button. I like the intro, when the vocals come in, and the arrangement. After I listened to it the 1st time, it left me thinking What do you want? I dug the song SO much I listened to it again, and again. You want to be " REALLY RICH" Who can blame you? You're all alone, no dial tone on your phone, and no shoes. Why wouldn't you want to be really rich? After listening 5-times, maybe 6, I'm thinking, they remind me of somebody. Hmmmm the arrangement, the tight hits, the lyrics, I got it,. First let me say you have your own style, and What I want is to hear more of WhiteHaven,. What I'm going to say is a major compliment from me,. I'm not comparing, but you remind me of a band called Crack The Sky. I LOVE Crack the Sky. And now, I'm really digging WhitrHaven. Keep up the great work. Peace and Quiet, Jimi

are you sure this is what you want?

this reminds me of the "garage band era" which I must say seems to still be with us...but, what with all the new electronic gizmos and gadgets and computerized everything I was a little surprised to hear this throwback to early "headbanger stuff"...just my humble opinion...not saying anything is bad...ALL music has ears for it somewhere in this world, right? doesn't hurt to listen...

So unique

Very unique and excellent production. As far as cutting I can only say that coming out the first chorus into the second verse could be shorter. But you know what they say about opinions :)

What I Want

I Reviewed This Track, Several Times, Using Different Settings. The Better the headphones, The Better. I Like This Track. Great Group Vocals. Wonderful Bass. It Must Have Fun Recording This.( It Sounded Terable on Just My Computer Speakers, But Given Good Headphones...WOW..)......I Give It a 4.6

Great work

The beginning of the song is a little out of tune, after the song it is very beautiful. The choruses and variations of themes of the song are beautiful. Maybe you could insert a solo with just a powerful rock guitar.

Wanna get really rich reviewing talented musicians doing a tongue in cheek, that no one would want to hear twice. Solid mix, good design and follow through. Could use a fuller lift at the end. I've written way worse.
