I'm a sucker for tasteful harmonicaYour voice sounds somewhat like Robert Earl Keen's, at least some of your phrasings and tonal quality. Nice! I like the get-to-the-point aspect of your song. Nice harmonies! Love the piano/keys as well. I'm hoping your other songs are of similar quality, and hope you're in a position to gig out and let people hear your music. Nice, painless song to review! Please keep up the good work! (Oh, and thank you for not making the B and C thing hokey! Nice!)
BonnieGood into harp playing, interesting words, and decent harmony, ride the bullet, suggestive? Nice groove, good tag and hook.needs a bridge may be coming?maybe a chord change in verse cause it keeps in same vain, good instrumentation, bridge now, still close to rest of melody but a welcome reprise.nice song, good vibe and arrangement Like the organ toward ending and drums too.
Bonnie And ClydeMark, thank you for sharing your work. You have produced a classic sounding track. I love the sweetness of the music. The harmonica just does something magical to the song and the organ as a canvas pad is awesome. I can tell you really love this song by the way you insert your vocals in there. I feel the one part harmony is also sweet for this arrangement. I think you can take this song really far. Push it out there and let the world hear you. It's so nice to hear good lyrics too. Sons of profound human experience and existence always have a spot in my heart. Keep it coming!
Bonnie and Clyde reviewMark - very pleasant, melodic song, like the instrumentation quite a bit. As for the mix (speaking from my own taste) I'd pull up the acoustic instruments a bit more and I'd pan the backups left and right and pull them back a smidge in the overall mix- that way they're have a presence but not fight the lead vocal so much. Keep up the good work. Best, Mike Lacey
Great AmericanaThis is super great, Americana at it`s best. Cool lyrics aswell and a good production. Great performance on the instruments like the Harmonica and the organ. This make me curious to her more from Mark
