Lots of cherry blossoms and way too much rain. I 've been working lately on demos with my collaborator Michael Mahoney. Our duet is called The Gravel-Aires. Look for some recordings soon. Just back from a trip out to Boston where my step gal graduated Berklee College of Music. At the ceremony Lucinda Williams and Todd Rundgren received honorary degrees. Great to hear them say how they kept their focus through the thin years and kept the vision well in sight. My other band of 39 years is The Mud Bay Blues Band. Good bunch of guys, family really, mostly all the members who started the band back in '78 . We're working on a video package of tunes and should release it this summer.
