It’s here at long last, summer nights that you wish would last forever. When we get a good blast of warm weather drifting up the coast to Vancouver,(much obliged California) the beaches and patios fill up. Music drifts into the streets through the open windows on Commercial Drive and everything seems right for a couple months. Our offshore Gulf Islands on the Canadian Riviera are a pretty casual getaway from the city bustle too. Nothing beats no socks and lots of sand between the toes. Just a word to say thanks to you music lovers for opening an ear to my tunes, recommending them to friends on social media and for sending your feedback. As an indie, unsigned, unexposed and overextended artist, to have all of you hear my music without loading a van and roaring around the continent is pretty amazing. I would love to get some recording done again and share some of the new music I have been writing. Maybe some demos to post in the interim. I wanted to ask if there venues in your towns that you might recommend to me. My travel bone is stirring again. I’d like to get out to the US, Eastern Canada or Europe.
