These Words Remind that....Humanity In NeedYou got it in one song Mark Alexander! "Do unto others, as you would have them do unto you"...The Golden Rule sets us free. The Milk of Human Kindness is what The World needs now...True Brotherly & Sisterly Love. Your song lyrics and approach of repetition in the back up singers is a clarion call. Epic in it's scope, this song brings revelation and a desire for transformation. I pray your words will be heard and everyone who listens will play their part in making this world a better place ...by performing Random Acts of Kindness daily. Strong backup and great execution of the rock composition. You have a really Strong Vocal Talent, also akin to ELO song writing talent too! Keep sending forth these words to resonate in humanity! Freedom will come! AS in the song by ELO "Everybody Got The Word!"
These Words RemindThis is another Mark Alexander great classic. Beautifully recorded with the usual stellar vocals that come from Mark. Music is the universal language and this song sends a message that so many of us need to hear. A shout for some sort of realization of this troubled world.
These Words RemindA weird off beat intro made my ears prick up, wtf is this? Boom, dropped into a classic rock track with a heaped spoonful of quality. The 1st thing that grabs you is the quality of the recording. All the care has been taken of ever instrument and their sonic value. Many layers of awesome have been layered to make this song sound like a proper classic rock track. Multi vocals over sweet guitar tracks with rolling drums. Iron Maiden flavour with a hint of Marilion and you've got it all. Ding Dong sir !
Really great Compositon!I really like the introducing with a nice riff from the e-guitar, which is also playing the main role in this composition. After that, the singer beginns with his unique vocals, but the whole composition is more various. A great piano accompanes the song inclusive a gentle acoustic guitar, making the music rich and brings the listener on the next level. The rythm often changes in the bridges and the drummer is playing his parts very engaged and straight. That isn´t really easy because of the orchestration with different instruments, but together is all sounding really professionell. The singer is impressive and has a strong vocal projection. A song above life and the development of events beyond personal control, regarded as determined by a rough power. But why do I tell this? This song has definitely a important message. This song is more creative than some others. Overall a really impressive composition with very talented musicans. I can´t stop listen to the music and I´m sure, you will like to add it. Let others know your recommendation.
sounds like Boston coverLove the guitar work, sounds a lot like Boston, very clean studio sound effects..... love the timbre of the vocals ...... needs a little more white space and lyrics are hard to understand in places but overall very nice .... guitar solo very strong
chewits very vintage sounding for my taste.. now don't get me wrong i love some metallica, led zeppelin, ozzy, ect. but it just seems to me that, i was waiting the entire time for it to break down into something a lot more aggressive. The pronouncing of your words seems awkward and forced. If this makes any sense you almost sound like you are mocking some other artist like bono or something.. there is a few times i almost questioned whether or not you were even being serious and not doing it on purpose. i have never given such drastic advice in my past reviews, but im comfortable to say you need to go drink a bottle of whiskey and beat your wife then play a game of horshoes with the horshoes still attached to the horse... go back to you wife,, reach in her pocket, grab your nuts back and swallow them bitches then smash your wifes sister while she watches and then you will be ready to write a new song.... and actually ROCK!
Associations ... and yet differentAssociations ... and yet different I can not really classify it for myself, and that's not negative. This song has a lot of ... well known bands and singers. Almost futuristic, with rhythm and bold changes. Something Bowie? Something Iron Maiden? I'm not sure what's in this song, not everything. But even though it is so much, it does not seem too much ... Undoubtedly not a title to relax ... :-) But I'm sure that there are many interested ears who have to listen to this song again and again. My case is not pure in style, but interesting - because different, I still think so!
These words Remindam Anfang das guitarriff Klasse macht es sehr spannend was danach kommt. Greats from G.W.Scott
Catchy rhythm and nice pulseNice rhythm, catchy rocky song. I like the aggressive pulse in this song and the voice, the vocals perfectly matches this kind of song. The guitar solo is good as well, Maybe I would like a kind of break somewhere in the song
War Horsecan we stop the madness? This is what I'm talking about...talk about originality, gosh I pray the radio stations wake up one day. This wold make Zappa proud for sure. Very original and detailed in its complexity. Abstained from commercial, more of a sonic journey into the writers life. it would get a 5 if it ended within 3 minutes 30 seconds.
nice songHi Mark Alexander. Nice song ! Great lyrics, great guitar-playing, well mixed. Great singing. This song is like a positive whirlwind to me. Like a tornado full of positive energy. You sure can play the guitar man ! Waw ! Good composition too. I like the fade-out near the end. What is a negative thing though is that the bass is lacking a bit. But the drums are ok. It's all very smoothly recorded though; cool ! You know the rules of singer-songwriting. Have you been broadcast on the radio already ? It's worthy of it. Please check out my music on N1M and, if possible, send me a review or somekind of reaction. I'd REALLY appreciate it. search: spiceypete. Love. Pieter B. from Ghent, Belgium
Classic RockI really like this song and I really like your style it is so unique and creative I the music I love everything about your music stick with your craft never stop creating I would like to hear more of your hope this been helpful enjoy your day and may God bless you in all your endeavors peace and Rock on.
This song remindsA solid effort that reminds me of that great heavy rock that came out of the late 80s, early 90s. I would almost call this progressive rock. It reminds me of Asia and yes during that time. I wish the vocals were more prominent in the mix and that the recording had a better mix overall. It's a shame to hide a voice wither all that potential in too much reverb, lost space, and excessive delay.
good stuffI like the intro quite a bit, The vocals are interesting on here, I like that you use nice harmonies it sounds like you do some of your own harmonies, nice mix I do enjoy your songs keep them coming. take care
Riveting SongFelt like I was listening to a powerful mix of Alan Parsons, Genesis and Journey. I feel it needs more variation, but it is good, perhaps even great; the song requires variation. However, if you couldn't imagine listening to and watching this in concert, then you've not got good ears.
