If you Love African mixed with contemporary music, then you will enjoy Lyton’s Songs. Currently based in the United Kingdom, Lyton Namubiru was born on the 14th February 1980 in Kampala Uganda. She was raised by a single parent (mother) in Jinja.

Lyton Namubiru attended Naranbhai primary school, St James secondary school for Ordinary level and Namasagali college school for her Advanced Level. During her high school days, Lyton actively participated in music, dance and drama. 

Since Lyton’s childhood, her love for music has been evident. With too much determination plus taking inspiration from the late south African singer Brenda Fassie, Lyton was just waiting for the right time to make a music break through.

Lyton Namubiru has been so much involved in the entertainment industry doing lots of acting and singing. She features in Bakayimbira dramactors films such as ‘Kigenya Agenya’. She too featured in a TV drama “Center 4” as Nurse Jean. Internationally, Lyton Namubiru has featured in a few Hollywood produced movies for example “Sometime in April” which was about the 1994 Rwandan Genocide.

In 2006, she released Omutima; a very good mellow love song produced by Jude Mugerwa of Little Penny studios. She then added other singles such as Njagala produced at Swangz Avenue in 2009, Banange and Funaayo Omulala both produced by Henry Kiwuwa of Grayce Records.

Lyton Namubiru is currently based in the United Kingdom where she juggles Music with studying Health care at Open University Milton Keynes England and modeling for Custine Suits.

With songs like Njagala, Omutima, Gwe Wekka and Banange already on her name, the sky is the only limit for Lyton Namubiru.
