Originally formed by David and James Karthauser, the name of Soules comes from the maiden name of one of their great grandmothers. As boys, they would spend summers on her farm in west Texas, helping her raise chickens and cattle. The rugged terrain of rural west Texas left an indelible impression on them giving them a strong love of life and nature. So to honor their great grandmother, Anne Soules, they formed Lost Soules. This band is for all the Lost Soules in the world and if you can identify with the music you too are an honorary member!
The resulting music defies musical boundaries. Each song seeks a direction of its own. Sometimes raw and earthy other times seeking loftier heights. Listen and enjoy! You are bound to have a favorite in the bunch. | | |
