About Lewis Moore

A native of West Point Georgia, Lewis grew up listening to a variety of music genres ranging from country to rock. When he was in the 8th grade , Lewis taught himself how to play guitar and helped start a neighborhood rock band. He was influenced by groups like CCR and The Beatles. In the 10th grade he played with The RB Hudmond Review band until 1972 when he received Jesus Christ as Lord. In 1977 Lewis graduated with a BS in Music Education from Auburn University. His first single 45rpm record "Light Of Love" opened the door to travel throughout the Southeastern USA doing concerts at coffee houses and appearing with Jerry Arhelger, Jimmy Snow and The Day's. Lewis has served as worship leader for churches of various denominations and is now worship leader at Webb's Chapel in the Nashville area.
