There was mayhem and there was casualties (R.I.P Slick Stewie Fontaine) but the beat was always strong and the twang of “Benny the Rooster’s” guitar and thump of “Sideshows” dawghouse could not be stopped, a new drummer was found…..his name “Howlin Hailstorm Howie”.
In 2008 LAS PISTOLAS released their debut E.P “The Legend Begins” on Raucous Records and the world stopped to listen. With air play on radio BBC and numerous internet radio stations around the globe, LAS PISTOLAS took to the mean streets of the UK, playing shows up and down the country and supporting some of the top UK and US Rockabilly / Psychobilly bands.
2009 saw the LAS PISTOLAS boys heading to Europe. Where they unleashed their sounds upon the manic crowds of France, a mix of greasers, punks, teddy boys, rockers and skaters, LAS PISTOLAS played to them all and everyone left with sweat on their shirts and a smile on their face.
That same year saw the boys hit the road again, this time with their U.S brothers from another mutha the RECKLESS ONES. For 20 non stop shows this tag team of bands tore across the cities of the UK, stampin their own brand of ROCKABILLY PSYCHOBILLY on the nation and the UK went WILD...
With a new album being recorded in 2010, UK, European and US tours in the pipeline and an ever growing fan base, the LAS PISTOLAS convoy KEEPS ON TRUCKIN.
Call them Rockabilly, Psychobilly, Rock N Roll!!!.....Call them what ya like!!!…
