Bio of the Artist
From Detroit via Hollywood to Las Vegas, can you handle a funk metal rocker with the vocals of Ozzy Osbourne, stage theatrics of Alice Cooper, guitar acrobatics of Van Halen and the metal funk groove of Rob Zombie?

King Lizzard, Las Vegas' Godfather of Metal, blends funk metal, multimedia and humor into an Alice Cooper-like stage show. His tunes are crafted with biting, dark lyrics, fronting groove filled guitar, bass or synth lines. His tunes, "The Patient in Room 666," "I'm Stoned" and "Area51" are in current playlist rotation on 104.7 FM radio in Los Angeles, and the "On the Horizon" FM and internet radio network worldwide.

Born and raised in the city Rolling Stone magazine calls "the Liverpool of America, producing loud, hard rock since the sixties," King Lizzard is another artist to come out of the streets of Detroit.

In the eighties he played bass and was co-song writer for the signed act, Legacy, opening for Cheap Trick, Chuck Berry, Heart, Molly Hatchet and other headliner acts.

In '97 he moved to Las Vegas, where he became the King Lizzard, donning stage costumes, fangs and make-up and playing hard driving songs about demons, angels, drug abuse and psychosis to his core audience of goth rockers in their late teens who dig Evanescence and older rockers who dig Alice Cooper and Black Sabbath.

The CEO of King Lizzard Entertainment since 1999, he hosted Las Vegas Lizzardfests for several years to promote local artists, hosted radio shows "Inside Sin City" and "The Sounds of Sin" which both featured Las Vegas talent, and has had his music on Letterman and Springer.

Flamboyant, eccentric and outrageous, he's a multi-instrumentalist, a practicing buddhist, and an ordained minister who holds Doctor of Divinity and Doctor of Metaphysics degrees. He put himself through college on an acting scholarship, dated Annette Bening, acted in feature films and played Faust and Iago in stage productions.

He realizes that he's getting a bit too old for the touring and CD circuit, so his goals are to do special events, write for film and TV, and pen tunes for established artists.
