Kidd Blast

Retiring from “normal” work life and gearing up to travel. Now finally I may have the time to put creative effort into new work(s). That’s the plan anyway! Keeping the fingers crossed!

Just for the occasion I've loaded up a new little ditty called "Fear Not The Dark". Since having some time off to utilize in the studio I put the finishing mix on this song that has been waiting for a while to be set free. Thank you so much to all that stick with me and enjoy my works. Means the world to me! I also want to give a most gracious "HELLO" to all the new Bad Kidds that have joined into my creative madness and hope that I can appease all your listening pleasures. Once again! HELLO Me Bad Kiddos and to all the newbies that have joined in since my last post. New song up for the masses and always the sincere hope it suits your diversified tastes. New Song! "That Monkey On Your Back"... The idea for this piece struck me a couple of years back when dealing with a relative that had a spiritual problem. Problem was that he could not stay away from the spirits (as in alcohol addiction.) His issues became our issues and started draining our pocketbook so we had to say "get help" or "move on". That was hard and the fallout afterwards took time to recover from. As always, my go to therapist was my music and this song was part of my healing journey. I wasn't suffering from any problem other than a helping heart, and in trying to help it almost pulled me under as well. I am a survivor and am here for a purpose. I don't want anyone or anything to dislodge me from that path.

Alrighty you Bad Kiddo's
Forgive the title but understand that most of what I do is instrumental and allows one to close their eyes, sit back, and let the music write it's own story in your mind from your life's experiences. Just a few magical musical brushstrokes across the corpus callosum part of the brain with good instrumental music and you can go anywhere, do anything, and be anyone your imagination can create. The music is just the roadway on which this can occur. Different for each individual, and I would certainly hope a positive one. So let me introduce you to my new work "Pray They Don't Find Me". Could be for the young playing hide and go seek, or the mature that just want to put down their electronic communication devices for a day or two, or possibly just a moment free of the pressures of daily living in this enhanced world of ours. Now here is the conundrum... This piece was created and produced on an electronic device and you will probably use one to listen to it. So be it! At least it's usage is for the good of ones mental state! (I surely hope)

Well me Bad Kiddo's... Little downtrodden and worn out! Day job to pay the bills is on a mandatory 6 day week and that is killing any and all motivation. I have around 2 dozen songs in process but no time to get the creative flow going and work on them. It is disheartening to say the least. At most I thought I'd drop a note so no one would think I dropped of the face of the earth. Thanks for hanging in there with listening, & passing the word along. Much thanks to all the long time Bad Kidds and to all the newbies that have recently joined. Appreciate one and all!

I wanted to take the time to give a heartfelt "Hello" to all the new Bad Kids that have recently joined into all my madness! I really appreciate your thumbs up to all that I do. It means everything to me. I hope to keep your musical interests frayed and wondering. Welcome to all the new Bad Kiddo's that have recently joined in to my madness and much thanks to all that have stayed with me on this journey! Here is a new song called "Alright Alright" that sprung to life after a series of events. #1) I bought a new guitar... #2) I watched a Matthew McConaughey Movie... #3) I listened to some old Nine Inch Nails albums... And this is what influenced this work... Man this was fun!

Alrighty me Kiddo's,

2 new works for all and I'll give you a little background on each. "I Know What You Did" I wrote when I heard about that sick puke of a human being that had kidnapped those two girls and held them captive for 10 years to satisfy his own desires upon them. I was mad and disgusted (and apologize for using the "F" word in the song lyrics). I have a daughter that I love with all my heart and I couldn't help but think what if that had happened to her? I wrote the song from the standpoint of a higher power (or Karma if you like) always watching and knowing... Handing out retribution as needed.
The other song "I'm To Blame" (free download) was written in an attempt to show my Wife how much I love and desire her. After all these years, she still is the center of my heart. Hope you can appreciate these new works as much as I did creating them.

Alright all my little Bad Kiddo's... Here's a new piece of coal for your holiday stockings! It has been set up so that you can download it if you so choose. Hope everyone of you will have a wonderfully weird holiday season and I (for one) am looking forward to a more productive 2018! See you on the other side!

Many have asked, and my reason has been consistent. Very Little Time!... But I eeked out enough to put the finishing touches on this work and for better or worse here it is for all that have asked. Yes there are more started and in various stages of creative flow... I will try my best to get more out.

To all my subscribers and everyone that has taken the time to wade through my works... Thank you and I appreciate you one and all. Appears I'm getting fans and notices from all corners of the planet and that is astounding (to say the least)! Makes the Instrumental format one that anyone from anywhere can enjoy. The sweet language of music that can be listened to without the need to understand the message in lyric form, lets any ones imagination take them where their memories and influences want to go, and that is a joy for all humanity. Love everyone of you that has left notes and messages. It truly inspires! Thank you from my heart! Ever on wards...More to come!

I am truly sorry for the time it has taken to get new material out onto the waves. A lot has happened but is leveling out and getting back into a normal stream of life. Here are two new pieces and I would appreciate some comments. "Brace For Humanity" actually has vocals and although I'm not a fan of my voice and it's been quite some time since I was an active vocalist, I keep getting nudges to "do it"... So here it is. Let me know if it's a thumbs up or not, cause I can keep on churning out the instrumentals like "Ondines Curse" for those that just like to dive into the sonics for the pleasure of letting the music take you to wherever it wants. Appreciate all of you that spend time here and all that take time to comment. You're beautiful!
