K2 began recording his first studio album, "Something New", in early 2007. The first single off the album, "Just Cruisin", was soon after entered into an online contest that he eventually won. His prize package included a music video, a trip to LA to perform at a popular club, and a cash prize. In October 2007, his album was released on itunes. The title track on his cd also appeared on the Coast 2 Coast Volume 11 Mixtape hosted by DJ Khaled. |
