About Kaylos Da Wulf

Born and raised in Washington DC, producer/artist Kaylos Da Wulf's life revolved around music. He began singing at the age of 5 and progressed into the artist you see today. His love for this art form was strengthened by the influence of his parents and various artists but the raw and gritty nature of his rap style is a culmination of all the pain he has experienced from his time as a youth up until now.

Before the age of 14, Cory (Kaylos) Edwards lost both of his parents within a year of each other and every year after that continued to lose key influential members of his family. After the loss of his core family members, he moved to Colorado to live with next of kin as he was not old enough to be legally responsible for himself.

Through the years after that, Kaylos had to fight through homelessness, physical, emotional and mental abuse, depression over the loss of his parents and so many family members and impossibly negative situations. This forced him to be reclusive but even through the circumstances, Kaylos was able to push forward through the negativity and make a life for himself in Colorado.

Music has always been in his life and has always been a driving force for him. He would say that music is his therapy. When he was young, he would sit down with his father William and listen to music every Saturday and Sunday through 5 foot concert speakers. What Kaylos didnt know at the time was this would be what would shape his love for music. Listening to bands and artists like The Ohio Players, Otis Redding, KC and the Sunshine Band, Stevie Wonder, Al Green, Marvin Gaye, Parlament Funkadelic and The Sugar Hill Gang among many, many others cultivated his ear for the messages in the music.

Now, Kaylos has set forth on a journey. Armed with his talent and experiences, he endeavors to spread a message of posititivity, knowledge and perseverance to all who would listen. Through his music, he hopes to touch the heart of his listeners and encourage them to keep moving forward in life. Kaylos means to shine a light on the dark areas of the music industry and prove to everyone that anyone can make it throught the struggles of life and still come out on top.
