Very good song.

As a musician, you are part of a creative community and it is likely that at some point asked for constructive criticism of the music of your peers, something that, if done correctly, it can be valuable to all parties involved. As musicians, we've all been asked to provide feedback or constructive criticism. about the work that our colleagues are doing, the finished musical production or any musical idea. Similarly, we look to others to gain a new perspective on our work. Good job with the guitar and how good it sounds in the mix. I like how you processed the guitar sound in the mix. Music is extremely subjective and we all have our personal preferences about genres. and styles that we like and those that we don't. Listening to music is an emotional experience, and we react to it viscerally. So when listening to a song we are aware of our emotional reactions. Very good song, you saw my congratulations.

Some good music elements at work here (but there's room to make it even better)

Hey I don't mind and generally like the sounds of the music, the atmospheric guitars, the arrangement, etc. The vocals are even okay, though I wanted to hear more poetic words I guess, not so much just visual observations. Some groups that I can think of that I think you might like to work on striving to be more like would be Television and the Yeah Yeah Yeahs. Hear and take in what these artists are both doing on their debut records, it could help you with your artistic vision, at least that's my suggestion. I generally didn't mind the listening experience I got from your track, hence the 3 1/2 stars. All the best! -T.H.

Needs more energy!

This track is so funky! I really am loving the vibe. Only this that was getting under my skin as the vocal. I'm not sure if it was what you were going for, but it really sounded lazy. Almost like you were really feeling the music. The beat definitely deserves a lot more energy from you. It also could be that this was just the first recording of this. I'd definitely like to hear a version of this song where you embodied a more rockstar attitude. Keep going!

Trippy Cool

The intro has a Hendrix- like vibe the song says this person has respect for the classic rock sound but it also has a EDM feel definitely would like to see what this artist has in a couple of yrs right now i'd say he or she is on their way to becoming a real good song writer song reminds you of a lot of brit bands and pop artist period . keep Up the good work !

Psychedelic Recall of Sixties

Helpful

K3EF's swagger driven music as they delve deep into a psychedelic 60’s/70’s -esque sound to create a blistering tune for listeners to enjoy. Driving on a psychedelic wobbling keyboards the track warps to become a mind-melting psychedelic listening experience. The track oozes a smooth rock persona while a dark ominous atmosphere seeps in for the instrumental as the band introduce a monotone vocal performance, what goes well here and is in good old 60s psychedelic tradition. Partly voice is out of tune. The melody is repetitive, you should make more variations to make it less monotone.

K3EF - "Drifting Away"

Upon your first listen to "Drifting Away" bu the United Kingdom's K3EF, you cannot help but be impressed by the quality of the band's performance and writing abilities. The song is well produced as well, and while you will no doubt be aware of their influences, they manage to come across with a sound that is uniquely their own. I highly recommend, K3EF, and very much look forward to future releases by this fine band.

Different and Original

Helpful

"Drifting Away" by K3EF has a different and original sound that is a little confusing at first, but then it pulls you in. The arrangement and the vocal stylings put this song in a category of it's own already, and when the guitar solo kicks in with the heavy wah wah, you are taken by surprise. Overall, this is a pretty cool song with a sound all it's own.

Awesome song

The music had great sounds and tones that really grabbed my attention. Songwriting and vocals were on point and brought as much to the song as the music. Very well made and I really did enjoy it a lot. Just wanted to give you a little feedback didn’t have anything negative to say about it at all. Thanks for your time

Good Work!

I like the sound it's original! I can feel the heart in this showing you put in some dedicated work. I like the melody and the flow and those hard drum hits makes the sound even better and natural, very straight forward and with some smooth harmony, I can dig it!!! Sounds like the studio vibe was feeling the vibe I could sit back to this one and zone out!!!!! More artist should study the roots of their culture of art more to be better at their own art. Keep up the good work and stay in the lab creating new material to stay fresh and on your toes. Peace!

Psychedelic

bowie-esque

Kind of mix of depeche mode and David Bowie, with a heavy reliance on a keyboard line that could be a bit fuller. The Kick drum , which is the only thing looking to provide a rhythm to the piece is intermittent and could be fuller in the mix. overall the Song sounds very scooped in the mids and a bit choppy

Cool

I like the base intro and the build up with the drumming. The guitar coming in reminds me of the Psychedelic era. It sounds like you are playing a Melletron which I like the sound of. Are you influenced by the sixties Psychedelic era? Keep at it.

Psychedelics'

Modern psychedelia music is one way to think of K3EF efforts on Drifting Away... Turn out the lights, grab a beer, and turn up the music baby! You won't be disappointed, unless you don't like Alt-rock. Give it a listen! Mike

A great thing here at N1M is the possibility to discover some new musical rough talents. I like to be surprised. It doesn't happen too often but each time I'm glad it did. K3EF delivered the goods. I liked this track from the very beginning. The structure is solid. Vocal performance & lyrics are just right for this genre. Instrumentation is decent and supports main harmony and top line. Production value is good enough to keep the overall feel positive. I can imagine this song as a main theme or soundtrack in some TV/Film project. Just keep up with the good work! Good music always finds its own way to the listeners. All the best!

Coming together

Helpful

This seems to be an experiment in coming together from out of the blue, sort of a psychedelic idea. I like it. It doesn't need a lot, but I suggest keeping the sense of humor strong so that it keeps the smiles with the interest it naturally instills. I really like the stopd and the ideas presented, it rocks. I just wish I could understand the words better. That's why I suggest if you bring up the vocal to a very good level, keep the sense of humor strong. Really like it. Good luck.
