|  |  |  |  |  |  | | | | | | Bio of the Artist | | Junkywax is a quartet formed on September 2007 by André Fonseca (Guitar and voice/ ex N'cript guitar and voice), Alexandra Cardoso (Guitar) and Marcos Sá (drums) with the end of a band (N'cript) and just for fun. July 2008, Alexandra moved her ass to play bass and Sérgio Silva to 2nd guitar . November 2008, the EP 'Your Eyes Smoke' was recorded with 4 of the 1rst Junkywax's songs and it just had been officialy published on January 2009, date when enter Pedro Amendoeira to take command of the drums. February 2009 and with some pressure, Junkywax go out on a tour called 'Punk Is A Fast Covering Of Life' where the objective is to promote the band for everywhere, the EP and the new songs. April 15 2009 the band went to the Fabrica de Som studios to record 4 songs. A compilation is released with 9 tracks ( 8 studio songs, including the Ep and a live track) called: ''WHO SAID GRUNGE IS DEAD?''. Pedro was forced to leave by personal troubles and Diogo joined the group to cover some gigs. Days later, he officialy takes the place on the drums.
