Hi Everyone! This week I wanted to talk about the music piece "Times Past" from the "Variations" album. In my college days, I was still experimenting with different ideas and ways to bring the right feel to the description. This of course is an ongoing process. This piece has been updated from the original sketch. It is now has more orchestration added with Violins, Violas, Cellos and other instruments. There is a small soft break added from the original where the piano leaves near the end and allows the choir and string section to take over, hoping to give it more incite of a reflective moment. Music does take us on a journey or a place that we remember. When going over this piece again, it bought back memories of "Times Past". More things to think about.
