Hi Everyone! This week I wanted to talk about the music piece "Ponderous" from the "Variations" album. I wrote this original concept piece back in my college days. It was a learning curve on a number of things with new instruments and new concepts, styles and techniques. I spent more time on this piece with just the dynamics alone. Mostly getting a feel for the instruments, tempo and environment. This was a time of a lot of crash course and hands on learning as well. It was one of those pieces that was a little more thought provoking at the time. I did a lot of tweaking and pondering, I guess on a more personal note, it was "Ponderous".
