Song Reviews

great vocal performance

the song is simple and compact and the words and melody compliment the feel of the song-maybe the few guitar licks that can be heard need a bit more development as they sound a bit apologetic and reluctant to take the stage-your voice is distinctive and adds to the feelings engendered in the song

Mellow sound

Nice song, well structured, sounds almost like an acoustic version of a much heavier song, some vocal harmonies added would give it a real pop, great guitar work, the vocal is a nice consistent tone.

Jesus in Heavens - Take me away

The reason I write this review is that The Jesus in Heavens - JIH Grant McNally has high potential in singing, and singing expressions. In this song, he has a limited space to show up his potential. His singing is very energetic, nice sort of baritone vocal diapason and strong. Surprisingly, I could find for sort phrases, also very soft sound with high capabilities of controlling. However, as I hinted above, he can show up more of his singing capabilities in more flexible, diverse, and softer style songs

Good stuff for good time

Wow, I really enjoyed this song. It's right what I'm into now, a guitar and a voice. And this voice is amazing, as it is the acoustic guitar and the atmosphere. The lyrics then are superb, which is very important, especially when they have to fit a good tune. I guess I'll listen to this song every day for a long time. Keep up the good work!

Soft, Easy, Listenable Tune...

I like the low production of this song. Out front Lead Vocals. Acoustic Guitar. Nice easy tempo. The lyrics and voice kept me intrigued to the end. If I have to compare, The Red Hot Chili Peppers meet Spandau Ballet on an Unplugged Radio program. I was almost hoping for another 'PART' to this song, that may have given my rating a bit higher. All in all, I'd say well done.

Nice song

I had to listen to it twice to catch it all. The intro with the Bass walk was what got me hooked to stay with it all the way. Nicely done with the two guitars with little leads here and there. You lost me at the 2:45 to the 3:00 mark...there is a very big gap there where you could've done something but you didn't. Please put a little riff in there to fill it and post it again for me to review and give you a better score. I really liked it, especially the Bass lines. Good Luck on your music adventure here at N1Music JIH....gizz, Bonham, Texas

Hi

Hello there Jesus, I have listened to your tune,I'm not a fan of indie rock but I like your atmosphere, you've got a warm voice and is well played and recorded but I have to say the content of the text could be misleading...you never mention no woman or man so I really didn't get who you want to be with,.....by your band name it could be a Christian song or a suicide song if you want to be with some God...bye

What I think of your song.

As soon as it started, I knew it was going to be good. I can't place my finger on it, but there are old influences at work here. I really like the instruments as they are subtle and well done. The vocals are just awesome, as they don't rely on tricks, but just simple straight forward emotions. Please take this as a really good thing when I say, I almost hear a David Cassidy quality in the vocals. He was always a great singer, and it sounds like you are too. Best wishes for great things. Nice guitar and nice chord pattern. Voice is nice overall. Although I like the arrangement the song isn’t radio quality. Some of the vocals go off tune also. Keep writing and maybe something will stick

Hi

This will be a nice song but You have to work on it..I mean make a Good arrangement and Vocal..( some parts are sung off The Tune which is No Go in Music Industry )..for me is just a Demo Work in Progress...at it is now has very small chance to be played on Radio Stations... and as You know Music Publishers are Very Hard to please.. both looking for Radio Ready Recordings and Yours is not..so re record it with better vocal.. I wish You good luck with pitching..
