9/24/18: I hope that you like the new songs that I posted last week; they were written last year. I got a job last week after being empowered by the writings of a gal who I have had a "love/hate" thing for since January of last year: The martial arts fighter turned pro wrestler---Ronda Rousey. Her perseverance, hard work ethic, dream-and-realize-the-impossible-dream ehoses, have enabled me to re-pursue my songwriting dreams to realize what I have known for a long time: That I am the greatest songwriter there ever was. With God's aegises, people will be coming to me, knocking down my door, saying: "Jay, you got a song for me?" I AM determined that it will happen and, unlike in times past, no pinhead publisher, boneheaded club owner, or jerky musician will derail me. It WILL happen. I believe God is with me. He would not have put--and kept--the music bug in me for over 35 years if it wasn't so.
