Good lyrics and vocals throughout. Nice and slow made it nice and good! Back ups were very tasteful. It felt like you really got into it and that really carries the song. Keep writing and tracking and you will make it.

Okay, I dig what you got, the opening has that ole Janet Jackson vibe going, I love your voice, and the chord changes through out. Should you seek to improve it,, I would suggest rehearsing your lead vocals more, till they flow like water some parts are choppy. I would highly recommend a new mix, the lead vocals are just right but the background vocals clash with the lead at points, this creates a conflict on the mood of the song. Avoid using volume to express emotion, use sensitivity like Mike Jackson taught us. Dig it though
