I just found out my song 'My Bloody World' has reached number #1 in the indie rock chart, I'd just like to say a big thank you for all who liked the song and got it too that position, I'm lost for words, eh can't believe it; this song I originally wrote in my late teens as a kind of long poem about an Alien having a conversation with someone from earth and the man explaining to the Alien how planet earth was in a terrible state, I rewrote the song in my twenties and it wasn't too far from where it is now, then last year I decided to rework it again taking out some verses and completely rewriting a new second verse bringing it up to date with the current climate in the middle east. It just goes to show that you should never throw anything away and that songs that you wrote years ago can be reworked and something new can come of them. I kept all the songs I wrote from when I was a kid till now, most are not really up to much but there are ideas there that can be worked on. once again a big thankyou to you all, love and peace hugh
