About Glimpse

Sam French is a finger style guitarist, singer song writer from Western MA. Heavily influenced by his childhood in a small town called gill surrounded by nature and beauty. His music reflects the beauty and tranquility of space as well the deep appreciation of the out doors and love of life and our youth. Beginning to play music at age 11 and composing as soon as his hands could keep up, the rest is history. After graduating high school sam spent many years learning carpentry/millwork from his father while pursuing music. Sam took this knowledge to build a recording studio in his family's barn in order to be able to offer recording at an affordable rate and be able to give back. Doing instrument tech work for the likes of pegi young, and spooner holdem. Drawing recent inspiration from traveling, nature, the concept of self, and of course love he has been working on new compositions amidst traveling and embarking on his new journy in new orleans.
