The Golem review

I am a huge fan of any guitar driven music that is out there. I have been playing and listening to blues, rock and metal since the late 60's. I like the sound, feel and mood of this song. It has a nice riff to drive it and a great beat.

Bop review

This is a cool styled rock/alternative type of song the intro has a good Hall effect on the drum kit and the rest of the song well engineered. There are plenty of influences in this song such as the alarm/early rEM and other song instruments and sounds. I like the overall mix and and production of this song. The whole tune has this really cool alternative sound throughout. Overall I really like this song a lot. Very good song

Cult meets Blue Ouster Cult?

This is a well produced (and well-played) re-mix (I have not heard the original) that have a modern sound but that are still rooted in traditional heavy metal, like some of the stuff produced in late 70ths and the early 80ths. Music is subjective but I find a bit of Ian Astbury of the Cult in the singing as-well as the band Blue Ouster Cult in the band playing (I am curious to what the band Guitarmandan thinks of this!). What is then preventing it from getting five stars. Well, please recognize that this is a great song and 4,4, is not bad, but it is rather long tune (5:03) and some of the interplays are, I think, distractive, but others are really great. Thus, writing a song that is this rich in variation has its dangers - that the listener don't have the same experience as the writer - but as listening is subjective (taste) then I can imagine that there is an audience out there that would be absolutely thrilled. Great song and thanks for sharing it.

Strong effort!

Real good energy, composition & production. Well written lyrics with out cliché phrases. Very nice lead guitar sound & the lead is well played with out over playing. Good vocals, pleasant tone & medley. The only change I would make, (& it’s only a personal opinion), is a slight reduction on the reverb. Again, personal opinion all’s good as it is. Well done! Hit on fire

Hey there. I've went through your new song and I found your work very interesting. I like the guitar playing on the background. Besides the guitar your vocals are nice and they balance. Keep up the great work. I'm also an upcoming artist in South Africa. Looking forward to learning more styles from you. When time opens for you please checkout my will as well and hear my projects.

Cool song!

I like it! I would describe "The Golem" as a melodic rock song. I like the singer's voice. It reminds me of the british New Wave singers. Also very good guitar solos and riffs. The whole band sounds great and I could hear all the instruments in the mix. Very good song.

Cool!

Good production. Love the riff. Singing is nice and clear. Act could use a more powerful lead vocalist however. Solo is good and works for the dong Tracks is stronger than alot of other material I have heard on N1M.

The Golem Rocks!!

Sounds great, good work on layering the guitars, really enjoyed the harmonies and arrangement. Nice clean lead and backing vocals, the guitar work is very impressive and the structure of the song has a flow that keeps the audience intrigued. I will look forward to hearing more tracks by `Guitarmandan` in the future.

Guitarmandan ... the Golem ......remix

Well Dan got me captured from the start reminded me of the seventies and eighties rolled in to one this one would be great to hear live with big speakers that let you lean in to the sound and feel as well as hear.... the vocals are very well produced and like the way the guitar wings it’s away around the whole track with other incidentals for good measure. A new level of expression at the centre of the track and the vocals just get better .. great track ad to you road trip play list .. thanks for sharing Press play you won’t be disappointed

Nice!

The music is nice, and I like it. I think it does have that down to earth vibe to it. I like this one a lot, and you're on your way to getting an award somewhere . Keep producing beat work like this I love the lead guitar, and keep your touch on it. This is unique and original. I think this is a hit for sure. Nice one! By the music you can tell that you are passionate about your work as every artist should be. Never give up and dreams and bigger things will follow! Maybe we can collab one day! PEACE!

Stone Man...

Drum in the intro sounds good. Once the guitar and bass come in for the verse, it reminds me of She Sells Sanctuary from The Cult, which is a good thing. Vocals are not bad, but I would really like to hear some back vocal tracks to help you a little(they finally come in at the end of the song, both low, how about some harmonics? Would sound much better.). The lyrics are pretty dope: Stone, man of Stone, he's got no soul... The instrumental break/solo in the middle of the song is really nice, but you might consider changing the structure of the song a little. The drums end quite abruptly at the end. I would prefer the song to end with the break/bridge/solo that would fade out, as the rest brings nothing new and sounds a little redundant. The chorus also lacks that hook that would make me want to listen to the song again. Some nice potential here, nice work overall!

Review

Decent production with everything mixed well. I think it could use more bottom end. Bass drum could be boosted quite a bit. All in all I think it could use some tightening up. A bit sloppy sounding at times. Vocals lack emotion and a bit hot in the mix for my taste. The song lacks luster and never really goes anywhere. Needs a spark especially with the guitar work.

good

The GOLEM (Remix) review. this song is a strictly hard Rock piece in the highest sense of the word. everything sounds in hard Rock style as I said everything recalls the hard Rock genre. personally it is not my favorite genre but I can give you a musical judgment that is certainly positive because all that there must be in a hard Rock piece in your piece is therefore complimented and continues. good job

Song rocks! Great sound. Vocals are simple but powerful and VERY effective. The guitarist is on point! Simple guitar riff, but man... that breakdown in that middle! Had me head banging during the solo. A must journey.

The Golem!!!
