A Grumpy G'day and many thanks

It's been a little over two weeks since I (Ray) began investigating this site. With so many music sites offering this, that, and the other it's a bit of a jungle out there. In those couple of weeks while I sat on my hands wondering whether this would be worth the effort, over 100 of you have got on board and we've had nearly 1600 plays. I've spruced the site up a bit and added some info to give you more idea of what we are about (which is a contemporary version of the 1930's 'old timey'). We don't sound anything like that of course but we like to think we are carrying on a tradition of telling our local stories in song. We typically write about what we know, which is Australia, its stories, its history, and our perspective and reflections on being Australian. We hope you enjoy what you hear, and as we have three albums out we will rotate the songs to provide a bit of variety. There isn't any one song in our repertoire that defines the band because we genre hop to such a degree. It keeps life interesting for us as musicians and, hopefully, for you as listeners. Thank you, once again, for your subscriptions and feel free to ask questions, make comments, etc. If you email us, we will answer. cheers and thanks Ray meanwhile we are also in these places: http://www.facebook.com/pages/Grumpy-Neighbour/188528744506933 http://www.reverbnation.com/grumpyneighbour http://twitter.com/grumpyneighbour http://www.youtube.com/user/grumpyneighbour
