| | | | | | | | | | | | Bio of the Artist | Grenade Jumper is a pop / rock band out of Granite Bay, CA (20 minutes north of Sacramento). We've been on multiple California tours as well as being featured on all three major rock stations in Sacramento (including being a part of the everyday rotation on 106.5 when it was KWOD). Grenade Jumper has played on numerous national act shows, the most notable ones headlined by The Ataris and Cute Is What We Aim For. We've got a good sound and a large hometown fan base. Released two music videos and two albums. "Sac Show Awards best pop band 2010 nominee".
The first single we released, “Makeup Miss America” exploded onto the three major Sacramento rock stations, earning Grenade Jumper the following titles: Unsigned Artist of the Month, Featured Band of the Month, and Local Licks Artist. The reason “Makeup Miss America” did so well on the radio is because it contains all the elements of a hit single, as well as a little something extra that all of us artists strive for. It is the type of song that if played nationally, would undoubtedly result in hundreds of thousands of sales. This sounds bold, and perhaps even arrogant, but I strongly believe our music has this capability, as shown from past success. Grenade Jumper has been most commonly compared to the band New Found Glory. Grenade Jumper is looking to record its latest album Summer 2011, followed by a West Coast tour. | | |
