God heals our grief....with grace and comfort

Hello my friends and family in Christ. I trust you all are doing great in this crazy world of ours. A big warm welcome to the new subscribers. Sorry that I haven’t mailed you in a long time, I have missed hearing from you all. Losing a loved one always isn’t easy and for us golden oldies it seems to be happening a lot because friends and family of our age are normally getting prepared to graduate home to our Lord. I recently lost my older sister Miriam so my mind has been occupied very much with our childhood days and memories I have of her. My sister was a twin, a big statuesque proud lady who lived for her children ensuring they all were well educated. I lost a sister but she had had a full life so we know it was her time to go. The attached picture of my sister Miriam was taken when she was much younger she was 80 when she passed. Her surviving twin and I are the last matriarch and patriarch left of our family of 7 siblings. However some of us have lost loved ones that went long before their time, I have too. I can only say that grieving for a loved one that has gone too soon most times gets us closer to God because it’s only his grace and the Holy Spirits comfort that carries us through. Grief is something that we must allow ourselves to go through. Suppressing it doesn’t help us to overcome the loss. God’s grace is sufficient for our needs. Allow and trust His grace to help you overcome any loss, trial or tribulation. The traditional medley song I’ve attached can be downloaded for you. I sang a traditional song at Mirrie’s farewell celebration.God bless you all, thank you for your support, love and faithfulness. Peace, Gobi
