Futuretown came together in early 2007 after Mark Heenan had stepped from behind the drum kit to pick up his guitar and take to the mic. He began the search for band members. Experienced bass player Danny Kilbride was the first to hear the potential in the songwriting and was joined soon after by Glyn Bateman ( drums ) & Luke Thomas ( rhythm guitar ).
The final piece of the Futuretown sound needed to be found in a defining lead guitar. Topher Reed joined Futuretown after hearing an early demo.
Futuretown have recently signed a 3 year publishing deal with MCS connection music ( london ), we also have a big year of gigs and our first album ahead.
