Hi to all my listeners..... from Johannesburg South Africa. We've had a lot of beautiful summer Highveld storms ..... lightning and thunder.... but the ground needed it as we went through a really sweltering period. Thank you Lord for the rain. I hope that you are all keeping well, and that 2018 is smiling on you....despite cold, heat,rain, snow or shine. This month I'm taking out "Because I Love You" and " I Just Want to Be". If either of these songs is on your "favorites" list, please let me have your e-mail address and I'll send them to you. The two songs I am putting on this month relate to critical matters affecting Africa and South Africa respectively. The first song is called " It is us that They Depend upon" and relates to the shocking reduction inf the number of African Elephants due to Ivory poaching. This is mainly fuelled by Eastern demand, which is at present being challenged strongly. The second song is "05.12.2013 - A Tribute to Nelson Mandela". This year would be his 100th birthday, as well as 5 years since his passing, and hence I consider this a "Nation-building" song. South Africa desperately needs to wrestle back the dreams of "the Rainbow Nation". Thank you all so much for your support. It inspires me to strive to be the best songwriter that I can be.
