Unexpected

When I looked at the title of the song, I thought this was gonna be a nice chill song. That took me by surprise as soon as those first notes started playing. A song which captures the listener by surprise is one worth listening to. You think you’re expecting one thing but you get something else. I love the surprise element to music. Rodeo style classic country music, who can ask for better? Wheres my cowboy hat? Yeehaa! Keep on rocking!

Fun to listen to

Although 6:30 minutes is a long time for a song I had fun listening to it until the end. Alternating bass, chicken picking - a lot of solo parts and a simple melody, that's pure classic country music, isn't it? I liked to hear a fiddle in your music for the first time - good variety, unfortunately it was mixed a bit too much in the background. The harmonica as always extraordinary and a real highlight. Any gigs planned in the Cologne Area?

Very nice into and a clean recording. I like the Harmonies and the Harmonica sounds great. This is a gold old happy feeling song. I like the guitar picking great sound on that. Keep up the great work.

Rollin in My Sweet Baby's Arms

Hi Francois. I thought I heard your rendition of this tune before, but I guess not.Although the musician is wonderfully accomplished, the intro was un-organized and unrecognizable; seeing that I know this song. At first, I thought it was just me having a bad "ear day", but I had to play it over and over until I felt comfortable with the break neck speed at which you guys were playing at. ;) lol During the first musical bridge, both the electric guitar and the harmonica seemed to get a bit lost during their solos. During the second solo, it seemed as if the fiddle player forgot his/her place and just played the same note for quite some time. It also seemed that these players were just playing any notes at all, and not the notes in the scale of the song, just to be able to keep up with the metronome. ;) Until this song, if memory serves me correctly, this is the only one of your songs where your band members seemed to get a bit lazy; compared to the exceptional quality that I have heard in the past. :0 Still, keep up the great work Francois. I love your sound. Blessings, Trev. :)

rolling for a review

a nice upbeat cover of an old standard , the french harp did a great job and the vocals were right on cue and nothing at all was wrong with this little tune, injoyed it greatly and I would say folk or maybe folk rock if a banjo had tuned in I would have said bluegress but with guitar and what was there keep it at the two genres already mentioned yea I can see a little blues with it . It got a little long in the end?

Happy rockabilly!

It's a happy rockabilly tune! I love this stuff! Up tempo, great instrumentals, full tilt ahead fun of the country variety. You guys got the best bar band on the planet and the guitar work is just insane! When the fiddle kicks in and then the harmonica it is a tune I will listen to over and over. This is what country should be. Great job guys, you take it to another level every time and I can't get enough! Thanks again and great job! :)

Wow there’s talent!

This tune had me tapping my foot the whole way through! I can imagine this band on stage at the Grand ole Opry kicking up their heels and giving the crowd one heck of a show. I have played in a band with a harp player, it adds so much to the music! I’d wish you good luck... but I don’t think you’ll need it!
