Great beat... sour synths and a steady rhythm
The steady rhythm makes this a solid beat for a soulful hip hop song, or something Camron/ Juelz Santana would come out with. The production on this is persistent on creating subtle changes in the the sound every 8 bars, with a consistent bounce between 4 bar loops... a cool trick and keeps it interesting, especially when there are no vocals on it. The sample is one that creates a sense of familiarity and that for me takes a little away from the sound, as it is in no way a minimalist arrangement... Great beat though and I for one would definitely consider making a full song to this, it deserves the time and TLC to bring the most out of it and create a banger!

Strange Music...
Here is a very particular music; the harmony is basic, but supported well by a beautiful rhythmic. The used tones return very well the atmosphere " shogun ". I would have liked the harmonious variations, maybe in the central part of the composition. The atmosphere is however very there. Well done!

The beat has some unique elements and has a nice vibe. I like the arrangements in the beat at some point I think that you overdid it with the synth but that could just be me. I do think you need a little bit better mix however I do think it's a beat that many people can use, some people could use it to switch their style up. I could hear somebody rapping fast on it Twista Chicago style I can hear me a laid back flow on it as well. Keep working

Shogun Review
Love the bass on the track, not a fan of the main sample that has the horn like sound. It becomes monotonous after about 1 minute. Would really love to hear something different at some point.

HELLA TIGHT
Finally some real HipHop to review on here! There's alot of people doing it all wrong but every once in a while a gem is discovered. This track came close to having the complete package of a perfect HipHop /rap song. The beat and vibe was golden era and the Rap flow and voice was on point. The instrumental was accompanied by ambient sound effects and overall created the mood for a true banger! The lyrics were abstract and storytelling without the use of profanity and typical mainstream dialogue. This is real art and I genuinely enjoyed the listen. Would have gave it 5 stars if there was tight record scratching turntablism involved as well. Overall this is the best song so far I've encountered on this site to review.
