| | | | | | | | | | | | Bio of the Artist | Ever since the summer of 1995, Falling Silence has been mixing nineties Metal with today's sonorities in order to create a personal style. The band had to adapt its line-up several times but in 1998 serenity and a stable working environment was finally reached. Falling Silence also evolved through their recordings, which got the longer the more professional.
The first record contract was obtained fairly fast - in 2001 to be precise - with small indie local Mulambo Records. That show "Shadows", a selection of the 11most meaningful songs composed between 1998 and 2001, got out. Sound quality is't the only thing Falling Silence values.
The same importance is given to live shows, which the band has been performing successfully in Switzerland and Italy with many bands.
On top of that, Falling Silence was featured on several compilations, as there are: The collection 2000 (Youngfeelings.ch), Kaleido Kompilation (Kaleidoscopic Music) 2001, Italian Experiences #3 (Path Of Experiences Records) 2002, Atlantida Vol.19 (Atlantida Prod.) 2003 and Music Against Itself (Babylon Magazine & PsychoSoda Blaster Records) 2003.
On March 2003, Falling Silence signed with the Milanese label VideoRadio that published the second official album "Dog's Life". The band is now dedicating itself to the media promotion of the CD and playing as many gigs in Switzerland and Italy as possible so as to lead their music as far as possible. And this is quite far actually, since " Dog's Life " will be distributed as from February by Dutch labels Sonic Rendezvous (Benelux) and Two Fat Men (Germany, Austria, UK, Ireland, Benelux). And much more is yet to come… | | |
