Those who met him will know, that in his thoughts he's already with the next project. His musical influences are Rammstein & AC/DC but also bands like A-ha, Simple Minds, Blondie or German new wave.

Composer, arranger, visonary and the one, who brings it forward. He supplies ideas, writes most of the lyrics and is respionsible for the recording. Musical influences: classic rock bands like Judas Priest, Rush, Iron Maiden, Saga, Saxon, Deep Purple and recent stuff like SUM 41, Rise Against, blink 182, SR-71, Bullet for my Valentine. And keep in mind: he is Def Leppard fan from the beginning.

His strong sense of repartee is legendary: with his fundamental drumming he is delivering the special "grip" of the sound. Without a doubt he is the joker of the band. Musical influences an favourite bands: Toto, Judas Priest, Saxon , Van Halen, Foreigner, Iron Maiden, Def Leppard and Dream Theater.

Among many others, 4 connected songs are dedicated to the Imperial Tranantarctic Expedition. An incredible story that deserves to be told!
In 1912, explorer Ernest Shackleton set out on board the ENDURANCE with a crew of 26 sailors and a stowaway to traverse Antarctica on foot from north to south. But it turned out quite differently. Unable to handle the thickening pack ice, the ship was frozen 19 miles short of the destination. The crew had no choice but to persevere through the Antarctic winter. But that was just the beginning...

Hi everybody,
our new record is going to be really cooool! As usual we took some elder songs and bring them back to life, had some leftovers from composing, did some new stuff out of it, had some new ideas and put them together. To shorten the time we are going to release online our next single DAYTONA RED LINE with FLAME OF ETERNITY in April 2020. Be prepared :-)

Hi everyone,
we have been busy the last two years and took our way of recording a few steps further. Perhaps you listened already to BREAKFAST AT 5 AM here on NumberOne and realised our new, transparent sound (...?) As we began this album, we wanted to give our songs from the eighties new life with a kick from our time today. Well... finally, just three of them made it to the CD, some others have to wait for the next album (titled already FLAME OF BURNING FIRE). And yes, we didn't even stop recording and are working busy on two songs for the follow-up CD. Enthusiatic the fun goes on...
Now - first things first: We can't believe it ourselves, on RIDE ON FROZEN GROUND are 7 brandnew, never-heard songs, which we are really proud of. I just want to tease you, because you still have to wait a little while. The publishing on online-platforms like spotify, itunes, google play etc. is dated to 10th of August, 2018. We are really looking forward for your comments. If you like us, like us also on facebook. We appreciate this!

The time has come: Our new album "Ride on Frozen Ground" is finally finished. The publication on the online portals is scheduled for the 10th of August 2018, the CDs are currently still being produced, we keep you informed at (expired link). So that there is something on the ears in the meantime, we have decoupled another track for you. Listen, have fun and keep it heavy!

The CD-Album SECRET OF THE SANDS (2015) arises, followed by RIDE ON FROZEN GROUND (2018) and FLAME OF BURNING FIRE (2020). The recording for the next is in full swing: HAVOC ON THE SEA, to be released in 2023.

1984 - 1988
Frank and Jay Bee quit in late 1984. Back in the Exhaust line-up TVK joins the band again, this time as keyboarder and background singer. Zappo changes from guitar to bass. Borsten also takes over the part of the leadsinger. Akki just keeps on making noise all the time :-).
The musical style changes, becomes more harmonic with catchy melodies. The studioproductions „Fulfillment Of a Tale“ and „The King Will Come“ are recorded. Both made the leap into airplay at the local radiostations and get favourable reviews in the specialized press.
With this line-up Exhaust is touring successful for over 4 years in clubs and on several stages in Germany. They play 2-hour gigs with own songs and some covers like „Don’t you“ (Simple Minds), „White Wedding“ by Billy Idol or „The Power of Love“ (Frankie goes to Hollywood) in a very special "exhausted" Hardcore-Version.
An (uninsured!) fire in the rehearsal room destroys most of the equipment and forces the band to an 8 years hiatus.

1983 - 1984
Mom und TVK leave the band and do their band "Wendepunkt", a project in the german new wave era. Their replacements in Exhaust are Jay Bee (Bass) and Frank König (Vocals), Borsten swaps from Bass to guitar. The new musical direction: Heavy Metal with complex compositions.
In April 1984 we record at a soundstudio the songs „Interceptor“ and „Strong Saxons of the North“ and publish them as a single. It reaches the No. 1 in the regional charts of our hometown. But too bad: there are no copies left. To keep the memory you can download the songs on our Website for free. This is really listening to the eighties, have fun!
