Spooky groove!

Prolific composer Erik-Peter Mortensen has produced a paranormal-sounding electronica groove entitled Ghost in My Trap. The theremin (or is it an ondes martenot?) melody soars over a “jungle”-type drum track.

The song opens up with a ghostly, sine wave that is chilling but smooth. The minor melodic line of the main motif stays consistent throughout the piece, yet the instrumental bed underneath shifts enough to keep it interesting. I especially liked at the end how there was some time stretching going on. The occasional saturated "hey" caught me off guard, but I thought it lent for some nice pause and space in the piece. The beat was glitchy and interesting. It could be nice to throw a hipass/low pass filter on the main melodic line to lend it some more movement and variation, but overall nice work!

this is a interesting piece. almost sounds like a movie soundtrack. great build up and tempo. I like the sci-fi element of the most used sample in the piece. well thought out. could be revised into an even longer piece if commissioned.

Super Spooky

One of the things I enjoy most about Number One Music artists is the newfound ability to hear music from around the world by singers who I'd never have the chance to listen to otherwise. That, in itself, is a great thing. Here, with this song we get something super spacey and out of this universe. This actually is a decent production with the mixing and sound quality. Would this go in a sci fi film or horror?

I really like the vibe of the music. The beginning is relaxing, leading into a very melodic tune. I especially like the ending, I think you should create more beats like this. Keep up the nice work.

The track "Ghost In My Trap" has a video game vibe. A bit synth heavy. I could see this in a reboot of zelda. Interesting use of the break. Great intro. Goes wild at the end, pretty dope all around.

It captures a mysterious feeling

I like this song, the way it starts. It takes me to a mysterious place filled with a mystic, strange and unexpected encounter with the unknown. I see mountains, fog, dark and light in a sunrise morning. The effects in this track were put well together.

A Excellent film music

Interesting sound world. Cool drums. Could be fit nicely to some film. Only thing I don't like is this "hey" shouted a bit in an aggressive way. The song grows bigger the longer it goes. Nice song and very good production. There is no need for vocals in every music.

Love the intro but a little too long. I like the beat. It sounds sadistic and dark. Ok I see there are no lyrics. I am also a vocalist. You may want to add some lyrics. I sing n rap. I like ur idea okk

Ry good

Really good, but i think you can explore more your instruments. You don’t need so much instruments but the right ones, stay simple. Simplicity is key in music. Sometimes we overproduce and that’s not good
