Solid neo-Baroque music
New York composer Erik-Peter Mortensen has created a nice musical setting with his Adagietto in C for Harpsichord and Strings. The piece would be excellent in a period dance setting.

Beautiful use of staccato and legato elements
There is a nice contrast between the strings flowing with the legato and the sharpness and point of the harp. Nice use of mixing staccato and the legato elements together to make a contrasting track that is pleasant to the ears. The only thing that jumped out at me is that on the reverb, there is a little saturation when the release is too long and it bleeds in to some of the other cords and progressions. A faster release or playing with the decay time on the note/chord hold may clean that up. Again, just something to consider in the mix and subsequent mastering of the track for the future. Overall, a solid entry and good to hear some classical style of music on this site and in this day and age. Please keep it up and stay in touch.

Review of Adagietto in C for Harpsichord and Strings
I enjoyed this! It is simplistic, which is often best when writing in this style and also very elegant. Pleasant to listen to and I could see this on a Romantic film set in the 1800's as part of a dance scene. The string part was very dainty and complimented the harpsichord very well. Well done!

Magnificent
I have reviewed this artist several times and find myself enjoying each piece even more than the next. There is a true magic to the artistry hear and I always look forward to listening to this magnificent piece of music. I loved when the harpsichord came in and represented the song as a whole. The harmonies and contrary motion that took place gave this song much depth and warmth. My only complaint was that it wasn’t long enough. Always a pleasure reviewing Erik’s masterpieces!! Nothing but 5 stars for his fantastic works...

Review of Adagietto in C for Harpsichord and Strings
Another great music piece by Erik-Peter Mortensen. I would say this is my favorite type of era of music. I enjoy great classical compositions. It has a great elegance and sets a great tone. It sounds like a great chamber sized orchestra that gives a nice personal touch. This has a little bit of a Mozart feel to it as if to entertain briefly for moment with a zeal of the Harpsichord being playful. Well recorded and mixed as if I was sitting there. Well done!

Beautifully played track
This is a beautifully played and put together piece. I presume it is an original composition although it reminds me of someone. The harpsichord is a lovely instrument which should be used far more than it is. Like everything he produces Erik Peter shows it off to its best effect,
